This practice is a game changer. I’ve had the worst experiences with dentists upselling me procedures. It gave me so much anxiety I stopped going. I worked myself up even coming here and was prepared to say no. The staff did not pressure me into anything, didn’t upsell anything, and took my anxiety about going to the dentist. The doctor was so honest and kind and her dental hygienist was the absolute best. I can’t recommend this place enough. I feel like I found the last honest dental practice. They take care of me and I actually look forward to going!

The front desk staff was courteous, which is the only reason I’m giving one star instead of none. Unfortunately, my experience with the doctor was very disappointing. First, during my visit, I spent a considerable amount of time explaining my main concern—that I have a very sensitive oral environment. The doctor did not acknowledge or address this concern at all. If he was unsure about what I meant, he could have asked for clarification, but he did not. Second, I mentioned that I suspected a previous dental cleaning may have caused a minor crack. I made it very clear that it was done at a different office. Despite that, the doctor became argumentative, insisting that no dental cleaning could ever cause a crack. When I clarified that I was only sharing my personal suspicion and that it was okay for him to disagree, he continued to push back, stating with absolute certainty that “100% no cleaning from any dental office” could cause such an issue. For me, that kind of blanket statement is a red flag—no medical procedure should ever be described in such absolute terms. Third, after I told the doctor I wasn’t experiencing any of the symptoms he described, he abruptly asked for personal details like my age and occupation. I found this inappropriate and intrusive. While I understand that some symptoms are commonly discussed, it felt like the doctor was applying a one-size-fits-all approach rather than considering my specific situation. This may explain why my original concern was completely dismissed.

So like so many others i hadn't gone to the Dentist since 2019 and then through Covid I was working so much so going to the dentist was getting harder and then I got so embarrassed and really ashamed of how I let my teeth get, but when I went to University Village dentistry they made me feel just like a regular person they made me feel very calm and kept telling me that you know I was fine that this happens to everybody and they were just really glad that I came in so we could start taking care of my teeth. They were so great with me . They were so able to address all of my issues of from the pain in my mouth my anxiety of going to the dentist and taking care of everything with the insurance. I really felt so comfortable with them in the office. I never felt looked down upon. couldn’t recommend this Dentist more, they are such a great group from Leslie at the front desk to the Dentist. All the helpers. The whole staff is absolutely wonderful ready to help you in a minute just to make you feel OK make you feel comfortable
