I had such a great experience at Uptown Charlotte Smiles! From the moment I walked in, everyone was incredibly welcoming and made me feel comfortable. Laura, my dental hygienist, was absolutely wonderful. She was gentle, thorough, and took the time to explain everything she was doing, which made the entire cleaning a really positive experience. Dr. Moore was just as fantastic—professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring. He answered all of my questions and made me feel confident in my treatment plan. Bre was incredibly helpful with explaining my insurance, going over payment options, and getting my next appointment scheduled. She made what can sometimes be a confusing process so easy and stress-free. I also really appreciated Makalyn checking on me throughout my visit to make sure I was comfortable and didn’t need anything. That extra level of kindness and attention really stood out. Overall, the entire team provided exceptional care and customer service. I highly recommend Uptown Charlotte Smiles to anyone looking for a dental office that truly cares about its patients!

Wonderful, friendly, and very good at what they do!

The staff was very professional and I felt very confident and trusted their opinions. I have been going to the dentist for over 50 years and never has a dentist been more thorough then Dr Moore. I feel like I can trust him. I have a lot of work to be done on my teeth and I didn't hesitate in the least after my exam.

I came for an exam, cleaning, and ended up repairing a molar filling. I did not get x rays. I ended up paying $200+ out of pocket on top of my what insurance covered ($448). I was not pleased to pay a processing fee on top of the cost. I have decent dental insurance. I was happy with the cleaning and filling but would not recommend based on cost.

After trying a few dentists since moving to the uptown Charlotte, this is where I'll be staying. The service has been great, everyone I've interacted with has been kind and caring, I've never had to wait more than a 1-2 minutes upon arriving, and the pricing feels honest and transparent. Checks all the boxes for me and would recommend to anyone in the uptown area.

I can’t say enough good things about Uptown Charlotte Smiles. After moving around quite a bit, I’ve had my fair share of dentist offices where I felt rushed or like just another name on a schedule, so my expectations were honestly pretty low going in. This place completely changed that. Dr. Moore and the entire team are welcoming, personable, and genuinely focused on making you feel comfortable from start to finish. But I especially want to highlight Christina, my hygienist. She is phenomenal. She explains everything clearly, takes her time, and actually engages in conversation, which makes the whole experience feel relaxed and human instead of transactional. I always leave feeling like she did a truly thorough job and never once feel rushed. For the first time in a long time, I’m not disappointed after finding a new dentist. Uptown Charlotte Smiles feels inviting, thoughtful, and patient-centered in a way that’s rare. Highly recommend, especially if you’ve ever felt like just another appointment slot somewhere else
