I highly recommend Uptown Cosmetic & Implant Dentisty. The entire process from start to finish was seamless. Dr. Velsasco is a perfectionist and does not move to the next stage until everything is perfectly in place. He has such a wonderful staff who are pleasant and work efficiently. I have a beautiful set of teeth and honestly I cannot stop smiling. Everything fits perfectly and feels natural. I have no difficulty eating. Thank you Dr. Velasco and staff. I couldn’t have wished for a better outcome.

I had the pleasure of going in today to have a consultation about dental implants today. Dr. Velasco was very informative, personable and went over every option that he could come up with. He asked me questions that helped me come up with the best treatment. Not only that he explained all of my x-rays to me in depth. I didn't feel ashamed or uncomfortable, it was an honest conversation about the care I expected to receive and the end result. The staff was genuine and friendly, financing was open honest and straightforward. There was a young lady that had just started that did my x-rays and gathered my information like a pro. When he told me it was her second day I was shocked. From intake, to x-rays, to meeting up with Dr. V, financing the whole process was seamless, fast, personable, friendly and patient. I appreciate that and it was a very good experience. Keep up the good work. I can tell they care about people and the profession they are in.

I'm so ridiculously impressed by this practice. First things first Dr Velasco Is Amazing. Hands down the best dentist I've ever had. He's the kind of dentist that is really quick at what he does but also won't do any work on you if you don't absolutely, positively need it. I feel like every time I go to other places they tell you you need all this work even though nothing bothers you and they are literally out for your money. This is not that place. I have never had issues after work and sadly thisnwas pretty significant work for me at least because I needed a root canal and a crown - he sent me to a fantastic specialist for the root canal and then the crown he did is literally perfect. The exact same color as my tooth and has given me no problems whatsoever. No pain. Nada. The office is also great. Every time I had to come they also barely had me wait every time. They are friendly, professional and the office manager even gave me a doable financial plan so I could get this work done. I cannot say enough good things about this office. The fact that I bothered to write this long thing should tell you all that you need to know (:

I had the best experience with Uptown. I was out of town on business when my temp implants cracked. After making several calls and a consultation that led to nothing, I contacted Uptown. Dr Velasco’s staff was excellent (Lisa, Gisely and Cal). They were able to fix my implant with an 8:00 am appointment. The dental Tech and Lab tech were accommodating and stayed until I was satisfied with my fitting. I highly recommend Uptown. They would be my provider if I lived here.

This is the best dentist in Houston. Any negative reviews ignore them. The dentist is exceptional and so is the team. You will not do better in Houston. Extremely professional and always does the right thing. They are a 15 on a 10 scale.

I have been a patient here for a few years and the service is usually excellent. Dr. Velasco and the staff provide top tier dental services. However, I had the unfortunate experience of having my appointment canceled last minute even though I confirmed via their text messaging system. When I called to inquire, I was told that the scheduling coordinator did not see my text message confirmation and gave my appointment slot to someone else. Instead of giving me my original appointment slot back they said their next available appointment was in 2 weeks which no longer worked for me. Don’t trust their messaging confirmation services as it appears to be unreliable!

From the moment I walked into Dr. Velasco's office, I knew I was in good hands. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff is incredibly friendly and professional. Dr. Velasco took the time to listen to my concerns and answered all my questions with patience and clarity. During my treatment, I felt completely comfortable and well-informed about every step of the process. His attention to detail and commitment to quality are evident, and it’s clear that he genuinely cares about the well-being of his patients. Additionally, the clinic is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, which gave me even more confidence in the treatment I was receiving. I have had previous experiences with other dentists, but none compare to the level of care and attention I received here.
