About Vail Dentistry

Vail Dentistry provides dental care on Edwards Village Boulevard in Edwards, Colorado. Implants are considered by many dentists the most durable way to replace a missing tooth, since the titanium post fuses with the jaw bone over several months and then supports a crown that functions much like a natural tooth. Enough healthy bone is the main prerequisite, and a graft can build that up first if needed.

Clear aligners straighten teeth through a series of custom, removable trays, each worn for one to two weeks before moving to the next in the sequence. They suit mild to moderate crowding and spacing well, and are worn roughly twenty to twenty-two hours a day for treatment to stay on schedule.

A veneer is a thin custom shell bonded to the front of a tooth to change its shape, length, or colour, most often used to address chips, gaps, or discoloration that whitening alone cannot fix. Traditional veneers require a small amount of enamel to be removed, which makes the change permanent.

Cosmetic dentistry covers treatment aimed primarily at appearance — whitening, veneers, bonding, and reshaping among the more common options — for patients who are less concerned with a problem that hurts than with how their smile looks day to day. The right combination depends on what specifically you would like to change.

A crown covers an entire damaged tooth — used when too much structure is missing for a filling to hold reliably, whether from a large fracture, extensive decay, or after root canal treatment. It restores both the shape and the biting strength of the tooth underneath.

Professional teeth whitening uses a peroxide-based gel, applied under supervision at a strength stronger than anything sold over the counter, to lift years of staining from coffee, tea, red wine, and tobacco. It works on natural enamel only — existing crowns, veneers, and fillings keep whatever shade they were made in. When I needed to have major dental care I chose Dr Drexler. As a retired dentist, it is important that I have a caring detail oriented dentist who also partners with excellent dental labs for their aesthetic work. I couldn’t be more pleased with the result. I highly recommend Vail Dentistry

Truly one of the best dental experiences. You walk into a dentist and leave with a friend - that’s the kind of space Dr. Sasha Drexler creates. She and her team are super knowledgeable, patient and have the best bedside manner. Love my experience here !

Went here for last 5-6 years. ALWAYS upcharging, constantly had to call and battle the bill because they charged way more than my insurance would pay. This for both my partner and myself, who both have very good insurance, from two different companies. For cleanings, any work that was done. Recently switched to a dentist in Avon and have yet to have any of the above issues. Last time I called to ask the lady at vail dentistry said "oh that's because insurance companies pay 1970 rates, and we aren't accepting any insurance companies", even though they gladly took the portion from mine.
