Found out that I have a wart, not a skin tag. Doctor DiBlasi took care of it with a quick freeze! Hopefully this solves my issue!

I am a first time patient with Dr. Chung. I was very pleased with the facility, my reception, Dr. Chung and his associate, Luke. Everyone was courteous and kind. I was also pleased that although I had just come in for a skin check-up, Dr. Chung took immediate action and biopsied places that were suspicious. I have confidence that all will be taken care of in an efficient and appropriate way.

I am a repeat patient at Vanguard, and very pleased that my primary care doctor sent my referral to them. There is a minor disconnect in the technology "upgrades" since 5 years ago -- the new robots hounded me by text and email to fill out my new insurance info before arriving, but the new client portal could not take the corrected information! So I went in early to my appointment, and the receptionist sorted it all out in less than five minutes. The needed information was transmitted with the referral anyway, so the programmers need to correct the welcome bots. More importantly, the medical staff were superb and did everything I needed and wanted, with congenial welcoming professionalism. They are my go-to dermatologists for my problem skin issues.

Was told the only opening for the procedure was @ Briargate. When I made the apt. I asked for a pre-autorisation what the insurance will pay and my pay. The front desk said ill get a call from the surgery side of there business. No call ever. I let them know if I do not know what it would cost me I will Not do it. I was as well told someone else from the appointment scheduling will call me the day prior. Nothing no call from anyone. Now they bill me for a no show. Beware of these people. I called billing just voice-mail. Called the office they said yes the surgery department should have called but they are short on staff. Hear who owns them...Vanguard Skin Specialists is owned by its founding physician, Dr. Vinh Chung, and his wife, Leisle Chung. They co-founded the independently owned medical practice in Colorado Springs in 2009, and Leisle serves as the company's CEO.

Wouldn't even give them 1 star. When I made the appointment over a month ago I received a text stating if you have commercial insurance that you needed to secure a 250 dollar payment. I immediately called them asking about this. The lady told me don't worry, you will need to pay your copay. Once I arrived for my appointment the lady said we need 250 for secure payment. I told her I called and not to worry about it and just pay your copay. Well that didn't happen. I canceled my appointment. Can't believe a company that treats skin requires this. No other medical center has ever required such a payment.

I had an outpatient surgical procedure performed at Vanguard. The doctor and staff did an outstanding job in all facets of my visit, from the competency of the care to the kind and respectful treatment of me as a patient. I highly recommend this dermatology center without hesitation.

Both my husband and I highly recommend Vanguard. I truly believe they saved my husband’s life from melanoma on his face. Everyone in the office is courteous and knowledgeable in their work. They are amazing!
