Vista Ridge Dental Care

Responsiveness to possible emergency dental problem after an appointment with them was horrible! Called the after hours service on a weekend and no one bothered to call us back. Then, a week later, ANOTHER problem happened on a Monday, when they are closed. The after hours “option” forwarded to an office called “Hilltop” or something like that had never heard of this office. Today, Tuesday, they offered an appointment two days from now - for something VERY serious that may be related to dental care they provided. Fortunately our Primary Care physician is already on top of it. We’re going to have to switch dentists. It’s a shame because I actually really like the actual dentist. The company who runs the office functions & operations appear to be sub-par. It’s a shame. The people who work in the office have always been sincere and friendly. ***EDIT: Problems with communication, billing, insurance, turnover, etc. first started when DentalWorks took over. Lots of changes. Then the mother company was Brident, which was acquired by Sonrava in 2022. So this is now part of a huge network of dental offices, based in another state, that is seemingly focused primarily on squeezing out profit. Look up Sonrava. Super low ratings as an employer. *** Update after visit today: Staff on site was apologetic and helpful. Learned that our long-time dentist left. Sonrava did not notify us that our dentist had left the company and this practice, nor who had replaced them. It just doesn’t inspire confidence. This type of communication should be routine. ***Update: My new dentist told me I do NOT urgently need a crown, which Vista Ridge Dental told me I needed over a year ago AND kept pressuring me to finance and book. Seriously wonder how this dental office is still in business. My impression is that the dentists, office manager, regional people, etc. are incentivized by corporate to upsell products & services that aren’t needed, to be aggressive with treatment (to increase revenue with expensive interventions), and to pressure patients to finance expensive, aggressive work (like crowns, wisdom teeth removal, etc.) It’s also interesting that someone from the company acknowledged my initial negative review, but NO ONE contacted me, other than the appointment schedulers, which I finally had to block.

Everyone was Polite and professional and I finally am going to get what need. They made so easy to get affordable payments I am so glad I went there. Thank you to all the staff sincerely, Robert Meachum.

Everyone at Vista Ridge was very pleasant and accommodating for my first visit. The office staff worked with me around my schedule, my hygenist was very pleasant, gentle and explained everything as she went along. Dr. Parker was very friendly and thoroughly examined me and discussed my teeth, mouth and gums.

Wow, not much to say besides stay away! Had an appointment they canceled it because of a snowstorm that wasn’t even sticking to the ground after I got a hotel room right next to the dental clinic so I didn’t miss my appointment because I don’t live close. Then they finally rescheduled me after me calling back. I have an appointment I show up and they said oh we tried to call you and left a voicemail. No voicemail no missed calls. Showed the guy at the front desk. They did finally get me in and means of canceling someone else that day two hours later so now I’ve literally spent hundreds of dollars trying to just get my teeth cleaned. What a joke.

I have to admit k have had a hard time in the past finding a place that will take great care on my dental health. I’ve been a frequent patient for regular cleanings and maintenance. Alex has been great for years. If you have been looking for a great staff look no further. 5 star rating and I will keep coming back.

I was able to get an Emergency appointment this morning after just one call. Less than an hour later, I was finished with X-rays and reviewing them with Dr. Parker. Absolutely everyone at the office was super professional, and more importantly, kind and caring! A great first experience!! Well done Vista Ridge Dental Care Team. I’ve found my new dental care providers!
