Walton Family Dentistry

I’m genuinely shocked that I’m being sent to collections over a $75 cancellation fee, NOT unpaid services. I had to take my daughter to the ER the day of my appointment and provided proof. As a single mother, I had no one else to take her. Despite already paying around $500 out of pocket WITH insurance for my first service, they refused to waive the cancellation fee, continued adding interest, and ultimately sent it to collections. I understand cancellation policies, but pursuing collections over a documented medical emergency involving a child is incredibly disappointing. A little compassion goes a long way.

I recently visited Walton Family Dentistry for the first time with a cracked tooth and could not have had a better experience. My long time dentist changed several years ago and I've been a dental vagabond searching for a new office. Walton was highly recommended to me by friends (and is close to home) so when I felt a tooth crack I gave them a shot. The building is new, sleek, modern and relaxing on the inside. The hygienist was incredibly nice, quick and took her time to explain to me what she saw and what I needed to improve. There is also a television mounted to the ceiling so you can watch Netflix with some noise cancelling headphones on while they work. Dr. Danelle came in and was incredibly warm, gave a great explanation of what needed to happen, and scheduled me quickly to get a crown. They create the crown in house and the pricing was completely reasonable. When I came back in for the tooth repair and crown fitting the entire process took about 2 and a half hours (exactly what they told me). I'm hard to numb and she gave me some tips to help that and the process was as smooth and easy as getting a crown can be. I had minimal pain after the procedure and am feeling great. My journey through the desert of mediocre dentists is over and I've found my office in Walton Family Dentistry.

The best dentist I’ve ever been to, across 3 continents. I just had two fillings and didn’t feel a thing, watched a Netflix movie playing on the ceiling with headphones during the procedure. They took before, ‘during’ and after photos of both individual teeth to talk me through exactly what was done and why (I really appreciated this!). The staff are skillful and kind, working from a really smart office, all the latest technology and techniques. Probably not the cheapest, but I found the charges reasonable, and importantly, I didn’t feel like I was being upsold.

I recently had to switch dentists because my insurance changed. I loved my previous dentist and had been going there for years so I was nervous about switching. My first visit to Walton dentistry was fantastic. The hygienist was super nice. I have mild sleep apnea and grind my teeth at night so I was interested in a mouth guard. Instead of just going with it, she explained that it was not covered by my insurance and talked to me about several alternatives. When Dr. Walton came in, he also talked to me about options and things I could try to help with my grinding and sleep issues. They were so caring. Unfortunately, I had a cavity so I had to visit again. Once again, they made sure I was as comfortable as possible. I even got to watch Netflix with headphones. I am so happy to have found them.

The Family of Walton dentist are very kind, and thorough. My whole family has been going to Walton for years. The facilities are clean and modern, and the staff are all wonderful!

Dr. Danelle, is easily the best dentist I have ever had. She takes time to explain issues clearing, including a cracked tooth caused by TMJ and all of my options. Today when I was getting my night guard fitted she made time to check my bite, even though my apt was supposed to be with the assistant. I really appreciate her thoroughness and care. Highly recommend.

Very skilled and friendly dentist. Reasonably priced. Krissy and Miguel are super professional. This business is awesome.

Although others have noted issues, I have had nothing but positive experiences here. I’ve been to numerous dentists in Austin due to my bad teeth. Meaning, anything you can probably get done to your teeth, I’ve done it. Walton Family Dentistry is by far the best here in ATX. I tell all my family and friends about this place. Anxiety is a close friend of mine, and when I come here they always make me feel at home, ask me if I’m comfortable and ensure I stay that way. Thanks guys for always looking out!

Literally the best experience I have had with an dental office. The communication from the front desk, regarding scheduling and insurance was amazing. Everyone was very thorough with making sure I understood everything. Hygienist, assistant and Dr. Kyle were all amazing. Again, great communication through out the entire process and you can tell they enjoy working for the company.
