About Warren Laser Dentistry

Dr. Yousif built this practice on East 10 Mile Road around a soft-tissue laser, and the marketing line the office uses is blunt about the appeal: no drills or needles, virtually painless, anesthesia rarely needed. That claim deserves an honest qualifier. A Biolase soft-tissue laser is excellent at what it does, which is cutting and shaping gum tissue with less bleeding and less post-operative soreness than a scalpel. It is used for reshaping a gumline, uncovering a partially erupted tooth, treating inflamed pockets and trimming tissue before an impression. It does not replace the handpiece for deep decay or crown preparation. If you arrive expecting every procedure to be needle-free, ask specifically which parts of your treatment the laser covers.

What surrounds that technology is a fairly complete general practice. Routine hygiene and examinations anchor the list, and it extends from there through composite fillings shaded to the tooth, bridgework and crowns, full and partial dentures, root canal treatment, extractions, bone grafting and implant placement, with orthodontics and children's dentistry booked on the same schedule. The periodontal side is where the laser earns its place most consistently, since gum therapy is exactly the tissue work it was designed for.

The office sits in the Fitzgerald neighborhood of south Warren, an older residential stretch closer to the Detroit and Eastpointe borders than to the 12 Mile retail corridor. It is a genuinely local, independently owned practice rather than a branch of a group, and it schedules accordingly: weekday evenings until six on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, and a Saturday morning block, so appointments do not have to come out of working hours.

On cost, the practice takes a direct line. All insurance is welcomed and maximized, most insured patients pay nothing out of pocket for adult exams and cleanings and for children's checkups, and there is a discounted first-visit package covering cleaning, exam and X-rays. That transparency is the practice's stated point of difference. For implant work in particular, get the sequence written down before starting, because grafting, healing time and the final crown are separate stages with separate costs, and the total depends on what the imaging shows about your bone rather than on a headline figure.

Dr. Yousif's independently owned practice on East 10 Mile Road uses a Biolase soft-tissue laser for gum therapy and tissue procedures, alongside a full general menu covering cleanings, fillings, crowns, dentures, root canals, extractions, bone grafting and implants. Orthodontic and children's care are also offered. Evening slots three nights a week and Saturday mornings suit working schedules. All insurance is welcomed, with most insured patients paying nothing for routine exams and cleanings.

Frequently Asked Questions

What can the soft-tissue laser actually be used for?
It works on gum and soft tissue: reshaping an uneven gumline, exposing a tooth that has not fully erupted, treating inflamed periodontal pockets, removing small tissue growths, and tidying the margin before an impression is taken. It seals as it cuts, so bleeding and post-operative soreness are usually reduced and stitches are often unnecessary. It does not cut enamel or dentine, so fillings and crown preparation still require the conventional handpiece and, generally, local anesthetic.
What does the practice charge for a first visit?
The office runs a discounted new patient package covering a cleaning, examination and X-rays, and states that all insurance is welcomed and maximized. Most insured patients pay nothing out of pocket for adult examinations and cleanings and for children's checkups and cleanings. Anything beyond routine care is quoted separately after the examination, so ask for the treatment plan in writing before scheduling restorative or surgical appointments.
Is this office suitable for children as well as adults?
Yes, children's dentistry is part of the practice's stated scope, alongside general, cosmetic, orthodontic, endodontic, periodontic and oral surgery care. Being independently owned and locally focused, it functions as a single-stop office for a household rather than referring routine work out. The Saturday morning block and the evening appointments earlier in the week are usually the easiest slots to book a child into without pulling them out of school.

I visited this office today and was very very satisfied..They explained everything to where I could understand the plan, and the comfort level was outstanding! They are the best dental office...I have another one that I'd recommend but my insurance doesn’t work there...I was very SATISFIED and look forward to many more appointments with my new dental office ❤️

I had a great experience today! The staff was welcoming, professional, and made me feel comfortable throughout my appointment. I really appreciated how patient and detail-oriented the dentist was he actually took the time to listen, explain things clearly, and make adjustments to ensure everything felt right. I never felt rushed and I left feeling confident and cared for. Thank you for making the experience such a positive one❤️

Don’t let this little spot fool you! Great customer service at the front. I had my teeth cleaned and Victoria was AMAZING I highly recommend her as your hygienist. She was thorough, made sure I was comfortable with her every step. My teeth are sparkling clean. I left my previous Dentist, afraid to start over with another but Warren Laser Dentistry was a great place, definitely try them if your super picky about who and how your teeth are taken care of.

I rarely leave reviews, but I feel obligated to warn others about my experience with this office. They get ZERO STARS from me, I’ve endured enough. From start to finish, the level of rudeness and lack of professionalism was shocking. On more than one occasion, staff members were dismissive, condescending, and completely lacking basic courtesy. Customer service clearly isn’t a priority here. Simple questions were met with attitude, and there was zero effort to make patients feel comfortable — which is especially concerning for a dental office where people may already feel anxious. On top of that, the pricing is extremely high for the quality of service provided. If you’re going to charge premium prices, at the very least there should be premium professionalism. That was not my experience. I would strongly encourage others to think twice before booking here — especially if you’re considering bringing your children. There are plenty of offices that treat patients with respect and value their business. Unfortunately, this is not one of them.

Worst experience ever. I wasn't seen until 30 minutes past my appointment time after 3 texts from them about when to arrive. The receptionist was not aware of the $150 new patient special they advertised online. The hygienist was nice and attentive way more so than the dentist. She took two minutes to look me over and walked in the middle of me asking her a question. She never addressed any of my issues making it very unlikely that I will be returning. It had been awhile since my last visit to the dentist and this is the reason why. It's all about money cause they took that first but I don't have a problem with that its the quality of the service including your attitude.
