About Wellness Dental

Wellness Dental is a dental practice on South Crismon Road in the Parkwood Ranch area of Mesa, Arizona. Dentures replace some or all of the natural teeth in a jaw with a removable appliance, custom-fitted to the mouth. A full denture replaces every tooth; a partial fills gaps where some natural teeth remain. Because the jaw bone reshapes over time, dentures typically need adjusting or remaking periodically.

Beyond any single treatment, most dental visits start with an examination — checking for decay, reviewing the gums, and looking at existing fillings or crowns — often alongside X-rays where there is a reason to look between or beneath teeth. That groundwork is what a dentist uses to explain any findings and set out next steps before you leave.

Routine attendance, roughly every six months for most people, is what actually keeps small problems small. A lot of decay and gum disease develops without any pain in its early stages, which is why regular checkups matter even when nothing seems to be wrong, rather than only booking an appointment once something hurts.

A first appointment at a new practice typically covers a full examination, a review of your dental and medical history, and a professional cleaning, with X-rays if you do not have recent ones. It is also a reasonable time to raise any longer-term concerns, cosmetic or otherwise, so they can be factored into a plan going forward.

Day-to-day oral health still comes down to the basics between visits — brushing twice daily with fluoride toothpaste, cleaning between the teeth, and limiting how often sugary food and drink appear through the day matters more than the total amount eaten at once. Regular professional care is what catches whatever those habits do not.

Digital X-rays are a routine part of dental care because they show what a visual exam alone cannot — decay forming between teeth, bone loss below the gumline, and how developing adult teeth are positioned in children. They use a low radiation dose and are taken on a schedule matched to individual risk rather than at every single visit. Frequently Asked Questions

Where is Wellness Dental located in Mesa?
Wellness Dental is on South Crismon Road in the Parkwood Ranch area of Mesa, Arizona (85208).
What days is Wellness Dental open?
Wellness Dental is open Monday through Friday. Contact the practice through this page to confirm current appointment times before travelling.
What services does Wellness Dental offer?
Listed services at Wellness Dental include Dentures. The full list is shown on this page.
How long does it take to get used to new dentures?
Several weeks is typical, and speech and eating usually feel awkward at first. Sore spots in the early stage are common and are adjusted rather than endured — they are not something to put up with.
What is the difference between full and partial dentures?
A full denture replaces all the teeth in a jaw, while a partial fills the gaps where some natural teeth remain and clips onto them for support. Which applies depends simply on how many teeth are left and their condition.
Why do dentists take X-rays?
Decay between teeth and problems below the gumline are invisible to the naked eye, so X-rays are what reveal them. Modern digital images use a low dose and are taken only when clinically justified.

Hubby had teeth removed, got implants and got temp dentures. The process was long and tedious. He finally got dentures that snapped into implants. We spent just under $30,000. That's a lot of money for us. We were told no warrenty, but promised they would work with us. We did move out of state, I know that makes it harder to work with us, but, hubby has had to replace 3 broken teeth. VERY disappointed. $30,000 does not go very far here at Wellness dental.

I am so happy I did my research and found wellness dental! More importantly I’m glad that I met Dr. Matt! Not only did they take the time to make me feel comfortable and welcome, they had payment options that were much more flexible and appealing than other implant dental centers I had been to. I wasn’t treated like just a number with Dr. Matt. They don’t judge you at wellness dental , regardless of your situation or health. They just want to safely and effectively help you achieve your smile and dental goals and make you feel better about how you look and feel. I truly am grateful that I took the time to get multiple treatment plan opinions and feel out the right place. I know this is a very big investment for most people, myself included, and you want to feel welcome and comfortable when making a life changing decision such as whole mouth implant restoration. I couldn’t be happier with the results and how I have been treated by the doctors and staff at Wellness Dental. Thank you Dr. Matt and everyone involved 🙏🏻😌🖤

The team at Wellness Dental has excellent customer service and treated me with genuine empathy and kindness. They took the time to work with me so I could afford the treatment I needed, and I truly appreciate that. Having my wisdom tooth pulled was the most painless invasive procedure I've ever experienced. The entire staff made what could have been a stressful visit surprisingly comfortable. 11/10—I absolutely recommend Wellness Dental to anyone looking for compassionate, high-quality dental care.

Had my first visit today and it went great. I have a lot of anxiety around dentistry and shame about the quality of my teeth. They made me feel comfortable, explained all my options and I am now almost excited to have the work I need done and have been putting off.

My wife and I have been going to this clinic for a few years now, we are very happy with the service. Between us we have had a few implants and a replacement bridge and extraction and a root canal as well as a number of cleanings and x-rays. The dentist and all of his staff are exceptionally good and very pleasant to work with! If you are paying out of pocket their rates are especially good! We highly recommend them.

Honestly, I was pretty nervous since I’d been going to the same dentist my whole adult life. My insurance changed, so I had to take a chance—and I’m so glad I did! Everyone here was super kind, welcoming, and they even got me in and taken care of the very same day. I definitely recommend giving them a try—they just might change the way you feel about going to the dentist!
