About Wellness Dental & Implant Centers

Based on East Grant Road in the Rose Hill area of Tucson, Arizona, Wellness Dental & Implant Centers is a dental practice serving the area. Holistic, or biological, dentistry applies standard dental diagnosis and treatment within an approach that emphasises material choice and conservative treatment, considering oral health as connected to the body more broadly rather than treating the mouth in isolation.

Digital X-rays are a routine part of dental care because they show what a visual exam alone cannot — decay forming between teeth, bone loss below the gumline, and how developing adult teeth are positioned in children. They use a low radiation dose and are taken on a schedule matched to individual risk rather than at every single visit.

Left untreated, small dental problems tend not to stay small. A minor cavity that would have been a straightforward filling can progress to needing root canal treatment and a crown, and early gum inflammation that would have reversed with a good cleaning can progress toward bone loss around the teeth. Catching things early is generally the difference in both effort and cost.

Continuity matters in dental care — seeing the same practice over time means your history, X-rays, and any patterns in your oral health are already on file, rather than starting from scratch at each visit. That familiarity is part of what a regular dental home offers beyond any single appointment.

Dental anxiety is common, and most practices are used to working with nervous patients — through clear explanations of what is about to happen, a slower pace where needed, and sedation options for patients who want them. Avoiding the dentist out of anxiety tends to make eventual treatment more involved, not less.

Children benefit from starting dental visits early, generally by their first birthday or within six months of the first tooth coming through, mainly so they become familiar with the setting before any treatment is actually needed. Establishing that routine early tends to make ongoing checkups far less stressful for both child and parent. What is holistic dentistry?
It is an approach that considers oral health in the context of overall health and tends to emphasise material choices and conservative treatment. The underlying clinical standards for diagnosing and treating dental disease remain the same.

Every six months suits most people. If you have gum disease or a history of decay a dentist may suggest coming more often. The point of regular visits is mostly to catch problems while they are still small and cheap to treat.

Was traveling when I had a mishap with my implant. I called several dentist offices and they were all booked and could not make room, except this one. They understood my situation and fit me in. I am forever grateful. More offices need to be this professional and accommodating. Thank you!

Had a wonderful experience thanks to Tacia and Lynette! Tacia, my dental hygienist, was incredibly kind, gentle, and made me feel comfortable throughout my visit. Lynette did my X-rays and made what is usually a difficult and uncomfortable process feel easy and stress-free. Both were patient, professional, and genuinely caring. Their kindness and attention to detail made all the difference. Highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

If I could leave a no stars that would be represent the service I received at Wellness Dental on Grant Rd in Tucson. They don't have consistent staff, so you never know who is going to be working on you. The office is disorganized and cancel appointments last minute when you have had the appoint scheduled for months. They never call you back when they say they will. And most of all they do not care that you are in pain. Do not get any dental work done here, I picked this place because it was close to my home and it has been THE WORST experience.

I would like EVERYONE to know that I had Dental Implants done at Wellness Dental by Jasmyne Smith and I cannot say enough kind words about the results! I am able to chew foods like I used to before I began losing my top teeth and am not longer hesitant to SMILE! Her assistants Olivia and Guadalupe along with the office staff of Denise and Bianca have been nothing short of the BEST! GOD BLESS THEM ALL!
