Wellness Redefined

I joined Wellness Redefined in a very low and desperate place in my life. I was at the beginning of a marriage separation and the stress and sadness was unbearable. My weight had gotten out of hand and I had no motivation to do anything. I started gut the stress and within weeks I could feel life rushing back through my veins. I lost 20 lbs and would wake up every morning without an alarm fully rested and eager to start the day. I could think through the divorce and make decisions without getting lost in the sadness. For the first time in my life I didn’t have extreme brain fog and could finish thoughts without pausing and wondering what I was talking about. All around this program changed my life.

Ebony has given me the tools and the knowledge to feel like my healthy, energetic, joyful self again! When I started this journey with her I was feeling awful physically, mentally, and emotionally. She listened to me, gave me recommendations, and ordered tests to help get to the root cause of my issues. Once she had the results of those tests she added specific plans to help me continue to improve. She’s an intelligent, caring, compassionate young lady and I am extremely grateful to her. I wholeheartedly recommend using her as a functional medicine practitioner.

Excellent service and knowledge

I am writing this review with immense gratitude for Ebony. Finding compassionate and effective care for my mother, who struggles with chronic diseases, felt like an impossible task—until we found Ebony. My mother was seeing so many doctors but she never had any relief. No one was trying to get to the root of her issues. She was depressed and in constant pain. I prayed about a holistic provider that would listen and look at the whole person. God led me to Wellness Redefined. From the very first session, Ebony's approach was different. She is incredibly attentive; she doesn't just listen to symptoms, she listens to the whole person. She made my mother feel seen, heard, and understood for the first time in a long time. Her patience is boundless—she never rushes, explains everything with clarity and compassion, and creates a safe, supportive space for healing. Ebony didn't offer a quick fix; she provided a pathway. 3 years after finishing treatment for bone cancer, I was told I was going into menopause at age 27 as a result of the chemo I had received. As a last resort, I started working with Ebony and her team-- the day before my final session, I found out that my hormone levels were completely back to normal, and that I could stop all hormone replacement therapy. My acne is more under control than it has ever been, and the hormone-related symptoms I was experiencing (night sweats, insomnia, fatigue, etc.) have essentially disappeared. Yes, it takes commitment, and yes, it can be hard-- but not as hard as hormone replacement therapy and feeling awful 5/7 days of the week. Ebony and her team have truly changed my life for the better, and I feel like I am equipped with so much knowledge to naturally help my body heal and function optimally that will stay with me for the rest of my life.

Wellness Redefined has been an incredibly life changing asset in the last year! Ebony has helped me navigate chronic stress and all of the ways it affected my body. I had/have multiple chronic illnesses and after many underlying discoveries and test results I’ve made many strides in understanding and controlling my inflammatory responses. From weight loss and hormonal health to gut issues and mental health my life has completely changed. Another amazing benefit is access to a nutritionist and a health coach (I love Kim!). I was also really impressed with the access I had to the team via well world app!! I know that Ebony and her team will continue growing and will absolutely do everything they can to take care of you. I personally still have a journey ahead but a year with this team has worked wonders!

It all started out with food sensitivities… I went to an allergist and she said I was the most allergic person she had ever met and I needed weekly allergy shots! I knew something wasn’t right, so I decided to take a look into functional medicine. I found Wellness Redefined, and over the course of about 8 months, I’m completely back to normal and living healthier than I could have ever imagined! Turns out my food issues were a result of Leaky Gut. Ebony and Bailey took the time to walk me through the gut healing process, and as a result, other symptoms I was experiencing that I didn’t think were related, actually were related! I improved drastically in simply one month! I also lost a relatively large amount of weight (for my size and frame) in the process! These ladies have not only saved and extended my life, but they inspired me to make sure my family members, loved ones, and even my pets are getting the best quality food in their diets every day! It has been a life changing experience, and I’m working on sharing that information with everyone I know! Also, having the ability to do all of this virtual, and having the test kits sent to my home, was amazing. It makes the experience very convenient to my schedule, and their hours of operation accommodate that as well! Although I have finished up my visits with them (now that I’m so much better!), I will only be contacting these ladies in the future. Side note: I really enjoyed my time with Ebony and Bailey, they’re not only very serious about your health, but they make it a relaxing, and sometimes even comical environment! I felt as if we were friends. More doctors need to focus on that aspect. Thank you so much for getting me back on my feet!
