The office staff is good but dr HABIBI is the worse dr, he made me go through a lot of unnecessary grief, he has no regard for the patient, the dentures were unusable, and he kept telling me to get used to them, having the option to have proper ones made, went without teeth for 10 months, lost self esteem unable to eat properly digestive issues loss of hair due to malnutrition etc. he shouldn’t be allowed to practice, doesn’t care about the patient, is rude and doesn’t have full disclosure of what is happening, has no empathy and has really bad bed side manners… spent 10 really horrible months unable to have a normal life… unforgivable and unacceptable behavior and attitude coming from a dr…I don’t have to get used to his terrible lack of professionalism… no one should have to go through more grief than the necessary given having all your teeth extracted is bad enough to deal with… management is terrible if they allow this kind of horrible behavior from their medical staff. Don’t ever go there and have dr HABIBI touch you… was finally referred to one that actually went to school and learned how to treat a patient…
Very good service, Marvin and Johann are excellent people...
Terrible experience. The front desk staff and the techs are very kind and professional. The dental hygienist is one of the most out of touch, insulting and unhelpful people I have ever encountered in this profession. I had a follow up appointment today to have a regular cleaning, she didn’t even look in my mouth! She seemed annoyed when I told her my insurance is running out on the 21st. This is something I have told them several times. She walked me to the lobby to schedule these items that need approval and are high cost - like a deep cleaning and a gum surgery (she suggested today) while having NOT performed the service I was scheduled to come in for today. She left me in the lobby without saying a word. I was in shock when they said that’s it for today. Nothing happened. I am concerned they are being dishonest with my insurance and charging for services they haven’t done. Don’t come here.
I had a great experience at West Coast Dental. Dulce at the front desk was super kind, helpful, and made everything smooth from the start. The doctor was also excellent, professional, patient, and took the time to explain everything clearly while making sure I was comfortable. Overall, the team was friendly, efficient, and really cared about solving my problem.
Today i had dental work done my Ms M and Joanne. They come highly recommended. I thought they were awesome. I've been going to westcoast dental for 3 years now. The light they use comes with this mirror like image so can can see the dental work with your own eyes which i thought was interesting. Before Ms M I had the Persian dentist he was awesome to. And there a In and out burger next door. And Marshall.
I had an outstanding experience at this dental office. Dr. Halbibi is an exceptional dentist who combines deep knowledge with genuine compassion for patients. He took the time to explain everything clearly and made me feel completely comfortable throughout my visit. Marvin, the X-ray technician, was incredibly gentle and kind, which made the process easy and stress-free. The rest of the team — Annabelle, Phyllis, and Keith — were also wonderful. Their kindness, professionalism, and welcoming attitudes truly made my visit a pleasure. I’ve been to many different dental offices over the years, but this one by far exceeds them all in professionalism, compassion, and care. The entire team goes above and beyond to make patients feel valued and comfortable. If you’re ever in the Long Beach area, I highly recommend making an appointment here. You won’t be disappointed!
This is why I always take pictues of my teeth before and after my dental appointment. The dentist shaved down my tooth rather than filling it back my chip tooth that was previously filled. All my natural healthy part of mt tooth is gone now. I can no longer chew on my right side. See the image attached for before and after
Just went there with my 9 year old son who was having an extreme dental emergency and the receptionist LITERALLY IGNORED us even though no one was there when we arrived except for 1 patient who was the one who addressed us and told us we should sign in. After signing in at 8:30am. She did not once acknowledge our presence and continued to take other patients who walked in after us. After 40 minutes of waiting I went to ask her if we would be seen and she shooed me away saying she would get to us which she NEVER did. Wound up actually getting in touch with another very empathetic dentist over the phone since his office was closed that day who provided more assistance by calling in meds than being at an actual dentist office! Please do NOT go here! Extremely unprofessionally staff and that receptionist needs to be FIRED!!!!
I waited for over an hour to be seen, the cleaning was the roughest and most painful cleaning I've ever experienced, and my total time spent in that office was around 3 hours for a routine cleaning, with only 30 minutes actually sitting in the chair. Would not recommend unless you enjoy wasting your time and sitting in pain.
I had a very disappointing experience at this office Please Beware of Dr Ian Lehrer! My appointment was scheduled for 8:00 a.m., and I arrived on time. During the consultation, I was informed that my wisdom tooth was close to a nerve and that there was a risk of losing sensation or function in the lower part of my mouth. Naturally, I asked for a few minutes to process this information. After about five minutes, I let the staff know I was ready to proceed. Despite this, I was left waiting for several hours. By around 10:45 a.m., after sitting in pain and becoming very distressed, a treatment coordinator informed me that the oral surgeon refused to work on me because he felt I had an “attitude.” I did not have an attitude—I was scared and trying to make an informed medical decision. Being denied care while in pain for expressing concern about potential nerve damage was upsetting and unprofessional. Patients should be allowed to ask questions and take a moment to process serious risks without being judged or dismissed. I hope this office reflects on how patients are treated during vulnerable moments.
Both of my kids had their first appointment here. After calling a few dental office nearby they were the only office that took our insurance. Everyone was very nice . My kids were comfortable and the staff front office, back office and Doctors were very nice. They were very gentle with my kids. My kids usually gag during X-rays but with the help of the assistants, my kids did really good.
