About Westchester Smile Design | Part of the Roligo Network

Prosthodontics, oral surgery, orthodontics and airway medicine share one suite on the fourth floor of 984 North Broadway, a short way along the same corridor as several other Yonkers dental offices. Westchester Smile Design runs as a multi-doctor group rather than a solo practice, and the range of specialties it keeps in house is the reason to consider it for a case that would otherwise be split across three separate referrals and three separate sets of records.

Full-mouth reconstruction is the case type this lineup is genuinely built for, and it is a different exercise from replacing one tooth. A prosthodontist starts from the bite, looking at where the jaw closes and how much vertical height has been lost to wear or to missing back teeth, then works backwards to decide which teeth are salvageable, where implants belong and what the finished arch should look like. The surgeon places fixtures and grafts bone where the ridge has resorbed. All-On-5 style restorations anchor a full arch on a small number of well-positioned implants rather than one per tooth, which cuts the number of surgical sites but raises the cost of getting the angles wrong. CBCT imaging is used to plan those positions in three dimensions before anything is placed.

Day to day the office also runs ordinary general care: cleanings, X-rays, sealants, fillings, root canals, extractions, nightguards, whitening, bonding and Invisalign. A crown can be milled and seated in a single visit for suitable cases, which removes the temporary-crown fortnight, though demanding cosmetic cases still go to a laboratory. Sedation is offered for anxious patients, and the airway and sleep service covers appliances for people whose grinding or snoring turns out to be the real reason their teeth keep cracking.

Expect a consultation-first process for anything large. Full-arch work is priced per arch and moves with grafting, the number of implants and the material of the final bridge, so ask for the plan in written phases and for the point at which each phase is paid. Hours are weekday, with an early Tuesday start, a late Monday finish and no weekend clinic.

Prosthodontics, oral and maxillofacial surgery, orthodontics and airway-focused dentistry are kept in house, covering full-mouth reconstruction, All-On-5 implant bridges, bone grafting and complex bite cases planned on CBCT imaging. Routine care, Invisalign, sedation for anxious patients and same-visit crowns are also offered. Weekday hours only, with an early Tuesday start and no weekend clinic.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is All-On-5 and how does it differ from individual implants?
Instead of one implant per missing tooth, a full arch of teeth is supported on a small number of implants placed at angles that use the strongest available bone. Fewer surgical sites are involved and often less grafting, but the engineering is less forgiving, because position and angle decide whether the bridge loads evenly across the jaw. That is why cases like these are planned on CBCT imaging before any surgery happens.
Can I really get a crown in a single visit here?
For many back teeth, yes. The prepared tooth is scanned digitally, the restoration is designed on screen and milled from a ceramic block in the office, then bonded the same day, with no impression material, no temporary crown and no second appointment. It is not right for every case: heavily cosmetic front teeth usually still go to a laboratory, where layered ceramics match translucency more convincingly than a milled block.
Why does a dental practice offer airway and sleep services?
Because grinding, cracked teeth, worn enamel and morning jaw pain are often symptoms of disordered breathing during sleep rather than isolated dental problems. This practice includes a dentist focused on airway and sleep, so an oral appliance or a referral for a sleep study may form part of the treatment plan. Repairing only the cracked tooth without addressing the underlying cause tends to produce the same failure again later.

The last visit I had a filling done and the Dr. was very good. I’m sorry, I forgot her name. I didn’t feel anything at all and she talked me through everything. I was very pleased.

This review is for the new receptionist - very impatient with explaining the charges I’m paying for the visit, and raised voices on me while I was calmly explaining her the issue. Borderline rude, totally unwarranted. I want the old receptionist back! Hygienist is awesome.

I had two scheduled appointments here. The first was confirmed automatically multiple times, but upon arrival I was told the office was moving and I could not be seen. The second visit was delayed due to a dental emergency ahead of me, despite me calling an hour before to confirm my appointment. During that visit, I was told by the hygienist that I was the last patient of the day and was essentially encouraged to leave if I wanted. In addition, I felt that several recommended treatments were presented in a way that emphasized optional or cosmetic services that were not clearly necessary for maintaining healthy teeth and were not fully covered by insurance, without clear explanation of priority or urgency. The dentist seems competent, but I experienced repeated scheduling disruptions and a lack of transparency around timing and cost of recommended services

I scheduled a consultation for a wisdom tooth extraction with Westchester Smiles and completed all the required pre-registration steps, including uploading my insurance information and filling out the pre-check forms through the link they sent me. When I arrived for my appointment, I was told by the front desk that they do not accept my insurance. This should have been identified before my appointment was confirmed, especially since they had my insurance information in advance. The lack of verification and communication wasted my time and effort. Patients rely on medical offices to review insurance information before appointments, not after they arrive. My time is valuable, and this level of incompetence is unacceptable. Very disappointing experience.

We had a wonderful experience with Dr. Ziotis for my daughter’s orthodontic care. The entire staff is incredibly friendly and professional, which made my daughter feel comfortable from the very first visit. What really stands out is Dr. Ziotis' empathy; she truly listens and takes the time to ensure her patients feel at ease throughout the process. I highly recommend her to any parent looking for a skilled and caring orthodontist! The team welcomed us with a smile and took great care of us throughout the vist, special shout out goes to Carlos that patiently walked us through the next steps until we were 100% comfortable.

Reception, the dental assistant, and the doctor were all very warm, light-hearted, and welcoming. I was very well oriented and guided through each step, from my X-rays to cleaning and examination. I was nervous being a new patient, but after my first visit, I feel more at ease. The clinic is very clean and organized. Has a parking lot which takes away the hassle of having to find on the street.
