I was disappointed because they said I have to pay 2199.00 every time in order to be seen I don't understand that

STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS OFFICE!! I rarely post online reviews, but after our experience with Western Dental on Mooney Boulevard in Visalia, (near the car wash) I feel compelled to share what happened. A few months ago, the clinic went through a management change. The previous office manager, Yesenia, was attentive, compassionate, and professional. The new manager—who coincidentally has the same name, Yesenia —has provided terrible customer service! She has demonstrated no compassion, takes zero accountability, and lied directly to us. The Background: My husband started a multi-step procedure in December, which takes roughly six months and costs tens of thousands of dollars. We paid for the procedure in full in early February. Now in July, the new manager informed my husband that the outside lab "broke his molds" and that the work would have to start over from scratch, delaying completion by another three months (until October or November). During this conversation, she placed all the blame on the lab. The Truth: When my husband saw his traveling dentist at the clinic and brought up the broken molds, the dentist set the record straight: the lab did not break the molds. Instead, management had failed to pay the lab for months, leading the lab to withhold patient items. Because of management’s dishonesty and failure to pay their vendors, my husband now has to wait an additional three months for a procedure we paid for in full months ago! Her dishonesty, lack of empathy, and poor leadership set an unacceptable example for her staff. I strongly urge Western Dental Corporate to investigate this office, address this manager's conduct, and ensure patients receive the care they paid for. Until Corporate steps in to fix these management issues, I cannot recommend this location to anyone.

Do NOT go to this Western Dental location. The dentist on site is careless, rushed, and put my dental health at serious risk.I originally came in for an emergency, but they made me wait weeks, even though my tooth was already badly damaged. When they finally saw me, the dentist numbed me, waited for it to take effect, and then drilled into my tooth without using any water to cool or lubricate it. That alone is dangerous.After hollowing out my tooth, he packed it with a soft temporary material and sent me home — even after I asked if the tooth needed to be protected or stabilized. He told me “no, it doesn’t,” and then scheduled my crown appointment a month and a half later.Because he failed to protect the tooth, a piece of the actual tooth broke off, leaving it exposed, unstable, and painful. I now have a broken tooth that could have been prevented if they had placed a proper core build‑up or post. I can’t sleep, I’m in pain, and the broken edge is cutting into my cheek.When I called today for an emergency appointment, I asked for the manager to be present. The staff said they “put it in the notes” but couldn’t guarantee the manager would even be there. This is unacceptable.This office is dangerous, and I hold them responsible for the damage caused by their negligence and failure to stabilize my toothproperly. They hollowed out my tooth, left it unprotected, and now I’m dealing with the consequences. Patients deserve better than this. If they’re not going to do things properly, then they need to get a dentist who will.To make things even worse, they rescheduled my appointment earlier because their lunch break is at 1:00. I showed up at the time they demanded, only to sit and wait until right before lunch anyway. This created the exact same rushed situation that caused the damage in the first place. Instead of prioritizing patient safety, they prioritize their schedule — even when a tooth is already compromised. I had a great experience thanks to Luz at the front desk at Western Dental. She was incredibly welcoming, professional, and efficient from the moment I walked in. Scheduling and check-in were smooth, and she took the time to answer my questions clearly without making me feel rushed. What really stood out was her positive attitude and patience, she made what can sometimes be a stressful visit feel much easier. It’s clear she genuinely cares about patients and takes pride in her work. Luz is a big reason my visit went so well. Highly appreciated!

Luz made my experience at Western Dental very comfortable! She was very clear when explaining and answering any questions I had, she made it very easy. Luz made coming to the dentist less of a hassle because of her patience, she was very sweet too! #shoutouttoLuz!!

Mrs Luz upfront office receptionist was amazing and very helpful and respectful. Thank you to the whole staff. My daughter also said everyone in inside the building were so nice. My daughter also cknowledged Mrs Jaime was excellent and so nice. Made her feel nice and safe here.

Staff are very friendly and accommodating. When I had the procedure on multiple teeth, the Dentist calmly and patiently explained everything to me as she worked on me. Everyone made me comfortable, and I felt as if important preventative measures were taken by the Dentist that will help maintain my dental health. Overall, I was pleased with both my recent visits. Thank you to all the staff.
