About White Sage Dentistry

White Sage Dentistry provides dental care on Liberty Road South in the South Salem area of Salem, Oregon. Gum disease treatment ranges from a deeper professional cleaning for early inflammation through to more involved periodontal care once bone around the teeth has started to be affected. Bleeding gums are usually the earliest sign, and the early stage is reversible with proper cleaning and better daily plaque control.

Dental anxiety is common, and most practices are used to working with nervous patients — through clear explanations of what is about to happen, a slower pace where needed, and sedation options for patients who want them. Avoiding the dentist out of anxiety tends to make eventual treatment more involved, not less.

Children benefit from starting dental visits early, generally by their first birthday or within six months of the first tooth coming through, mainly so they become familiar with the setting before any treatment is actually needed. Establishing that routine early tends to make ongoing checkups far less stressful for both child and parent.

Payment and insurance arrangements vary by practice and by treatment, so it is worth asking directly what is covered and what options exist for anything that is not, rather than assuming either way. Getting that clarified before treatment starts avoids surprises once it is underway.

Beyond any single treatment, most dental visits start with an examination — checking for decay, reviewing the gums, and looking at existing fillings or crowns — often alongside X-rays where there is a reason to look between or beneath teeth. That groundwork is what a dentist uses to explain any findings and set out next steps before you leave.

Routine attendance, roughly every six months for most people, is what actually keeps small problems small. A lot of decay and gum disease develops without any pain in its early stages, which is why regular checkups matter even when nothing seems to be wrong, rather than only booking an appointment once something hurts. What happens during a routine dental examination?
The dentist checks the teeth for decay, examines the gums, looks at any existing fillings and crowns, and screens the soft tissues. X-rays are taken when there is a reason to look between or beneath teeth.

Everyone was wonderful. I called this morning and they were able to see my at 11:00. They answered all my guestions about dentures. We have a plan in place and will start the process on the 16th. I made an appointment with my normal dentist 3 months ago and they said my insurance was fine. Five days before my appointment they informed me that they don't accept that insurance.

I had my dental procedure done by Dr. Jadeja and her assistant Maria. I'm thoroughly impressed by the professional care that I received. From the time I walked in greeted by Melissa, The Treatment Coordinator, to the time I left. I believe this was The Best dental experience I've ever had.

Dr. Jadeja and her team are the BEST! Couldn't ask for a better dental team providing amazing work with genuine care. The team are all professional, courteous, friendly and gentle. They explained everything clearly, and I felt completely in good hands during my procedures. I wish I had gone here sooner. Trust me, your teeth will thank you.

I am disappointed to report that my experience with White Sage Dentistry was subpar. Despite paying $1100 for a resin partial tooth, I was not adequately informed about the product's limitations and potential drawbacks. When I visited the office to discuss the tooth's yellowing and shape, the staff responded with excuses and implied that I should be satisfied with the product given its price. I was not advised that the tooth was solely for aesthetic purposes and could not be used for eating. The doctor claimed to have explained these details during our initial consultation, which was not the case. In summary, I am extremely dissatisfied with the quality of the partial tooth and the lack of transparency from White Sage Dentistry. I would advise against investing in their services. My primary concern is not the yellowing, but rather the tooth's size and shape, which does not match my adjacent tooth. Is it truly challenging to achieve a matching tooth?

An old crown (done by another dentist long ago) came off, and there was dental decay, requiring drilling and the creation of a new crown. The White Sage staff were very professional and customer-service oriented. They also provide discounts for cash, which is very helpful. Will definitely return again!

Lovely all around! The staff are friendly and helpful, the dentist is as well. They explained everything well, gave me upfront pricing. The office is calm and comfortable. I just switched from Salem Dental, mostly because I want to see the dentist who owns the practice. That is the case with this small practice. This practice also offers sleep studies and treatment. I will be switching my whole family here.

As a person with high dental anxiety I never thought I'd be someone that had regular dental visits. But thanks to Dr. Jadeja and her team, I am now one of those people! The care and time they take to ensure you are comfortable is outstanding! The ease at which they conduct exams, cleanings and cavity fillings make it basicly pain free. Seriously throughout all my fillings i never had any pain even after the novocaine wore off. I am so happy I found this dentist and I cannot recommend them enough!

I have been coming to White Sage Dentitry since 2017. Dr. Jadeja is far and away the best dentist I have had in my 68 years. I could tell from the begining that she is an artist 🎨 and a dentist🪥 all in one kind and caring presence. She graduated from the esteemed UCLA dental school and her skill level obviously shows her comment to her profession. I highly recommend Dr. Jadeja and her wonderful staff. Hi to Melissa and Maria.🙋‍♂️😁🌝🙏
