About Williams Family Dentistry

Williams Family Dentistry is a dental practice on East Main Street in downtown Lexington, offering general dentistry alongside more specific care most patients eventually need. The office sits in the heart of downtown, convenient for residents and workers who want dental care without leaving the central business district. Beyond routine exams and cleanings, many patients eventually need a missing tooth replaced, a child's first dental visits managed, or a way to relax through treatment they've been avoiding, which is why having that range of care in one downtown office matters.

Williams Family Dentistry combines general dentistry with crowns, veneers, teeth whitening, dentures, and wisdom tooth extractions, alongside pediatric dentistry for younger patients and root canal treatment for adults. Implant-supported overdentures are the more distinctive piece of what this practice offers, giving patients who've lost most or all of their teeth a fixed alternative to a removable plate rather than a referral to a separate implant specialist across town. Sedation dentistry is available for patients who've avoided the dentist due to anxiety, and emergency appointments are offered for urgent issues like a broken tooth or sudden pain.

If a loose or ill-fitting denture has made eating and talking uncomfortable, having it anchored to implants at the same downtown office that handles the rest of your family's dental care is a meaningfully different option.

Implant overdenture cost depends on how many implants are placed and which denture style is used, so ask for a written treatment plan and estimate before agreeing to anything beyond an initial consultation. Dental insurance typically covers only a portion of implant-related work, and coverage varies significantly by plan, so it's worth confirming with the front desk what your specific benefits allow. The same estimate-first approach applies to pediatric and general restorative work, where cost depends on what's actually needed. For downtown Lexington residents and workers along East Main Street, having pediatric, general, and implant care under one roof means fewer separate practices to coordinate for a whole family.

Based on East Main Street in the Aylesford Place area of Lexington, Kentucky, Williams Family Dentistry provides dental implants and veneers alongside routine dental care. The practice is open Monday through Thursday. Contact details and a full list of services are on this page.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where is Williams Family Dentistry located in Lexington?
Williams Family Dentistry is on East Main Street in the Aylesford Place area of Lexington, Kentucky (40508).
What days is Williams Family Dentistry open?
Williams Family Dentistry is open Monday through Thursday. Contact the practice through this page to confirm current appointment times before travelling.
What services does Williams Family Dentistry offer?
Listed services at Williams Family Dentistry include Dental Implants, Veneers, Emergency Dentistry, Wisdom Teeth Removal and Dental Crowns. The full list is shown on this page.
What counts as a dental emergency?
Severe or worsening tooth pain, a knocked-out or badly cracked tooth, swelling in the face or gums, bleeding that will not stop, and a lost filling or crown that leaves a tooth exposed all count. Swelling with fever is the most urgent of these, because it suggests an infection that is spreading.
What age is best to have wisdom teeth taken out?
Late teens to early twenties is often easier, because the roots are less fully formed and bone is more forgiving, so healing tends to be quicker. Removal is still routinely done later when there is a reason for it.
Why do wisdom teeth cause problems?
They arrive last, often into a jaw with no room left, so they become impacted or come through at an angle. Partly erupted wisdom teeth are also very difficult to clean, which is why they are prone to repeated infection and decay.

Top notch service. Everyone here is very nice, and professional. I've had multiple cleaning sessions with Caitlin, who is my primary hygienist, along with others, which are great. I've also had more involved dental care performed by Dr.Williams, who is a great dentist. He has always performed great work, and very personable. I love this office, and can't say enough good things. High-quality care. Highly recommend 👌
