About Williamsville Family Dentistry

Williamsville Family Dentistry on Maple Road in the Williamsville suburb is a general-dentistry practice serving the eastern Buffalo metro corridor. The office is set up as a long-term family-dental home — most patients are existing households on regular recall, and the team has the kind of multi-year continuity that comes from staying in one location rather than rotating through chain franchises. The Williamsville location catches both Williamsville residents and broader Amherst-area households.

Patients searching for a family dental practice in Buffalo, a preventive and restorative dentist in Buffalo, or a general dentist near them in Buffalo can find a complete program here, including cleanings, tooth-colored fillings, crowns, bridges, and root canal therapy, plus basic extractions, gum-disease care, and routine pediatric cleanings on a family schedule. The practice handles dental emergencies for established patients without sending them to a separate urgent-care office.

If you live in Williamsville, near Maple Road, or in the broader eastern Buffalo metro suburb corridor and want a single dental practice for your kids, your own restorative needs, and your parents' work, this is a sensible Williamsville starting point.

Cost-wise, Williamsville Family Dentistry runs as a typical mid-priced eastern Buffalo metro general practice — most major insurance plans are accepted and treatment estimates are walked through before any work begins, so patients aren't left guessing about fees. For Williamsville and Amherst-area families weighing where to anchor their long-term dental care, this clinic belongs on the shortlist alongside other established Maple Road generalists. New patients can usually be fit into a first-cleaning visit within a couple of weeks rather than long backlogs, and the office is set up for direct insurance billing rather than reimbursement-only paperwork. Office hours typically include early-morning and end-of-day appointment slots that fit working family schedules, and new-patient intake usually fits into a first-cleaning visit within a couple of weeks. New-patient intake typically fits into a first-cleaning slot within a couple of weeks, and the office handles coordinated household scheduling so multiple family members can stack their visits on the same trip rather than scattering across the week.

Williamsville Family Dentistry on Maple Road in the Williamsville suburb provides general and family dental care — cleanings, fillings, crowns, and routine restorative work — for Williamsville and east-suburb Buffalo households.

I would never in my life return here after the way I was treated by the lady at the front desk. I had to stay nice and remain calm until my tooth was placed in my mouth today. But I have received my tooth and they will never get another $ from me ! When you have a great dentist and a horrible receptionist as the main point of contact…. Especially when theyre arrogant and cocky you’re going to loose patients… I referred multiple people here and her nasty attitude and demeaning tone OVER THE PHONE was enough for people to not even want to schedule an appointment. Williamsville “family” dentistry Do better cause that lady is horribly rude !!!

Wonderful. Honestly, everyone will formulate their own opinion, but for me it was fantastic. I was nervous because it had been a while but everyone was great!

My girlfriend has been going to them for almost 5 years, she had to call to cancel her appointment this morning due to an upper respiratory track infection, Monday, July 20th 2026. At 8:26 AM and her appointment wasn't until 2:30 PM almost 6 hours of the notice. The staff on the phone was extremely rude, unwilling to understand the circumstances , inevitably just hanging up the phone with a negative demeanor. I would not recommend going people are not friendly. The doctor himself is very incompetent and lacks the skills needed to do things properly and care to your teeth. Not to mention any doctor that allows his staff to act like that makes you wonder how he really feel feels and if the $1200 per filling is all he's really about. Also office manager Nicole is too worried about being all the receptionist, friends - instead of disciplining them for their negative and condescending tones. She laughed it off and said it is what it is. Disgusting unprofessional, and would not recommend to anybody.

I had a very disappointing experience with this dental office. I scheduled an appointment several weeks ago regarding a dental concern that was important to me. My appointment time had already been changed once, which I accepted without issue. However, on the morning of the appointment, I was informed that the appointment had been canceled because they claimed I did not confirm it. The problem is that I did reply to their confirmation message on Friday morning around 11 a.m., well before the office closed that day. When I asked how my confirmation was somehow not received before closing time, the staff member refused to explain and told me it was “not my business.” I found the communication unprofessional and dismissive, especially given that I had been waiting weeks for this appointment and had concerns about my tooth. I understand scheduling mistakes can happen, but the way this situation was handled left me very disappointed.

I had a very disappointing experience with this dental office. From the beginning, communication was a major issue. They rarely answer their phone, and I had to arrange a ride just to go there in person to make an appointment. After finally scheduling, I received a call weeks later saying my appointment had to be canceled due to an issue on their end. I was understanding and rescheduled without any problem. However, when I later had car trouble and couldn’t make it to the new appointment, I tried multiple times to call and inform them. Once again, no one answered. Instead, my sister received a call back from a staff member who was extremely rude. Without allowing me to explain the situation, she accused me of being “inconsiderate” for missing the appointment and said I was no longer welcome at the office. The call was ended abruptly while I was still trying to speak. This was very frustrating and disrespectful, especially since I made repeated efforts to contact them ahead of time. There was also no clear communication about office policies or even their lunch hours, which they later mentioned as a reason for not answering calls. To make matters worse, I’ve seen other reviews describing similar experiences, which suggests this may be an ongoing issue with the front desk staff. Overall, I felt very disrespected and unwelcome. I would not recommend this office based on my experience.

Dr. Kevin is an extremely rude dentist. I have walked out of this dental office crying twice because I couldn’t discontinue in middle of my crown procedure. His dental assistant was so rude and harsh. They have absolute worst bedside manners. During my crown if I was choking felt pain and tried to express he would threaten me to stop treatment in the middle. Dare I ask any questions afterwards. Treating a patient like they’re an inconvenience is not acceptable. The front desk literally talks down on you and hang up on your face. I recommended my family members initially because of the hygienist but they had similar or worse experiences with Dr. Kevin at the office and they have no other dentist. I’ll make sure to file complaint with the board and my Insurnace moving forward.

I think more businesses need to realize that reviews make or break a decision to contact you. Maybe realize when you see several posts about patients NOT getting phone calls or appointments being cancelled without warning.. maybe they are telling you the truth. The several negative comments about how the Dentist treats patients.. maybe change that?!?! I came in about 2 years ago and even back then, the dentist was cold, didn't care about my concerns, and didn't listen to me. I left the office in pain from the injection sites. My gums are sensitive. Today as I am having tooth pain in the same area that was worked on before, I read the reviews and have decided I will not try to come back as it doesn't seem like the environment has changed there. You know what's funny.. you may get better reviews, more patients.. if you actually cared about the patient and the work you perform. Take accountability for phone call errors. Do better, be better!!

Dr kevin clauser made me feel so uncomfortable and disrespected. I no longer am a patient at this practice despite all other staff being very helpful. When I had questions before my procedure, he brushed off my concerns, insisting that the pain I was experiencing was normal..before even checking my tooth to make sure everything looked okay. He made no effort to mask his nasty attitude at all. I have anxiety, and tried to let him know beforehand. He couldn't have been more dismissive and impatient for no reason . Honestly, I feel like he was purposely rougher in my mouth because he was annoyed by me. As I said, the rest of the staff was beyond nice and the dental hygienist that did my cleaning was the sweetest. If it weren't for Kevin I would love this practice.
