About Williston Road Family Dental

Williston Road Family Dental operates on Williston Road in the Williston North area of Williston, Vermont. A veneer is a thin custom shell bonded to the front of a tooth to change its shape, length, or colour, most often used to address chips, gaps, or discoloration that whitening alone cannot fix. Traditional veneers require a small amount of enamel to be removed, which makes the change permanent.

A crown covers an entire damaged tooth — used when too much structure is missing for a filling to hold reliably, whether from a large fracture, extensive decay, or after root canal treatment. It restores both the shape and the biting strength of the tooth underneath.

A bridge replaces one or more missing teeth by anchoring a false tooth to crowns placed on the teeth either side of the gap, creating a fixed replacement rather than a removable one. It is a longstanding alternative to an implant, particularly when the neighbouring teeth already need crowns.

Dentures replace some or all of the natural teeth in a jaw with a removable appliance, custom-fitted to the mouth. A full denture replaces every tooth; a partial fills gaps where some natural teeth remain. Because the jaw bone reshapes over time, dentures typically need adjusting or remaking periodically.

A family dental practice sees a range of ages under one roof, which for most households means fewer separate appointments across different offices. It typically covers routine checkups and restorative treatment for both children and adults, with referrals out for anything requiring specialist training.

Oral surgery covers procedures beyond routine treatment — surgical extractions including impacted wisdom teeth, implant placement, and bone grafting among the more common ones. The distinguishing feature is generally that tissue is opened and closed as part of the procedure, rather than treated at the surface. Staff at Williston Road Family Dental are extremely caring and gentle in their approach to dental hygiene. The hygentist that takes care of my needs was gentle, gave me information and feedback along the way and was very well trained and professional while being personable and kind. I would definitely recommend this office to anyone.

This was my daughters first experience and she was treated with such kindness! We truly love your office and feel so cared for by everyone. My favorite part is everyone's continued education. I feel all providers have so much knowledge to share. Thank you for taking the time (I'm sure most after hours) to learn and provide the best care to your patients!

Yesterday, I Had a cleaning and replacement filling. Everything looks and feels fine. . Always pleased with the work I've had done here. The old silver filling was at least 40 years old and was painlessly removed. The new repacement is a white color and looks clean and natural. Thanks so much!

Last week while vacationing in Maine I broke a tooth. I called Williston Road Family Dental and immediately got an appointment for Monday at noon. They have great technology and were able to show me a very clear picture of the broken tooth. They recommended a crown and were able to fit me with a temporary crown immediately and scheduled an appointment to install the permanent one. Dr Stagers and Robin were great.

I tried Williston Family Dental today and was delighted by their cleanliness, competency and compassion. The building itself is immaculate while the receptionist was lovely. She answered my questions about insurance with same grace and humor at 5p.m. that I suspect she possessed in the morning. I was tempted to hug Amanda who queried if my gum inflammation might be hormonal. I don't think that I've ever had anyone correlate my post menopausal biology with my dental care. Amazing! Dr. Stages came in for the consultation with a wonderful calming demeanor. She assessed my teeth and offered solutions to existing problems along with potential problems, all presented in a positive manner, rather like a coach. They were also financially transparent about costs which is yet another reason I want Williston Road Family Dental to be on my wellness team.
