Winchester Family Dentistry

I have had great dental appointments at Winchester Family Dentistry. Everyone there are so nice and friendly. I had to put off going to the dentist for a few years now but as soon as I met all the workers here I knew that I came to the perfect place. It's a one stop shop, today I had impressions and made my appointment to have the big stuff done. I am so pleased with the painless work that I've had done so far. I have to give each girl that has worked on me ten stars and my dentists are wonderful,there great at there jobs, funny and very polite. I feel so blessed to have found this office. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Today a new day and a new appointment, I've been setting here thinking about starting a blog about my teeth. I used to say that I would give my eye teeth for this or that but now I catch myself every time I say it and I take it back as fast as I can. I've always heard how we should take good care of our teeth and how when they are gone they're gone and I can tell you first hand just how true this is. My dentists have tried so hard to save my teeth they've spent hours on trying to save them for me but unfortunately I have an autoimmune disease that is causing my teeth to die. God bless Dr Ballard's heart he told me years ago that I had an autoimmune disease and there's nothing that can be done to help me and there's not. I have to say that Dr. Dela cruz and Dr. Drake have tried. Every call in the end has been mine. Except for what I had to do to save my heart and both Dr's. made it clear that I couldn't walk around any longer with infected teeth. I was still the one who said take them out. I can't express how gentle and pain free they made me feel. I have had four teeth removed and I felt nothing. I followed all the directions they gave me and I have done great. I have no idea how much money that they've saved me. I know for a fact that they couldn't stay in business if they had many patients like me. I also know them well enough to know that they would treat all of their patients the same way that they have treated me. I really appreciate everything that they have done for me. If you need dental work done and you don't have a dentist or you feel like you need a new dentist please call them for your appointment. I promise you that you won't be sorry. It did take me a long time to get up the nerve to have my teeth out, and I've had lots of people say that I needed a second opinion. I already had two opinions before I ever saw Dr. Dela Cruz and Dr Drake. As I tell everyone I've had four opinions now and every single dentist have told me the exact same thing. All I can do now is take the best care of the teeth that I have left, as I possibly can and pray that God will allow me to keep the rest of my teeth. Of course I'm very blessed to have found Winchester Family Dentistry. ______________________________________ I got another good check up today. It's wonderful to have great people to care about you. He finally took the plunge and had all of his teeth removed. He was met with a warm welcome and with all the right instructions. He was treated very good and it over before he knew it. He's pain free and is at home doing great. I just love being able to go see all the girls and both Dr's. If you have a dentist who you don't like or if you are looking for a dentist here's where you need to come. I can assure you that you will be very Happy with their work. As I said before I promise you that you will love all of the girls that works here. Another great day at the dentist, the people who all works there are so nice that I wish I could visit more often but I sure don't want to lose anymore of my teeth.

Great atmosphere with very understanding and empathetic professionals. My daughter has WellCare of KY and no one in town seems to take her insurance, so I was so thankful to come across Winchester Family Dentistry! They’ve met and exceeded our needs! She was placed on the waiting list to come in as a new patient, BUT it literally only took a couple weeks to get her in! So grateful! Thank You!

Everyone is nice and polite. And the dental hygienist Lynn helped me to stay at ease. This was having a periodontist cleaning. Today was cleaning and checking how the periodontist cleaning did. I just love the place and people there.

my visit here could not have been more pleasant. everyone was smiling and very comforting. the tooth extraction was fast and painless. when leaving someone said "have a great day." I responded, smiling, "I already have had a great day." thanks so much WFD!

Everyone was very efficient and kind. Scheduled and assessed quickly and designed a treatment plan that worked. Very good experience. Follow up visits were equally professional. The Dentists and their staff are top notch!

I love coming to the dentist here. The staff are excellent and there's no judgment. They just give you the advice and information you need to know how your mouth is doing and how you can tweak your habits to improve ever so slightly or as advanced as you want to go. Dr. Drake is really great and they will do what they can to make sure you're comfortable and as pain-free as possible. 10/10 would recommend. FYI... my wife HATES going to the dentist... She absolutely loves it here!!!

My first appointment was exceptional. I went in for routine checkup and cleaning. Everyone was friendly and professional . Lynn was my hygienist. She was very caring and does exceptional work.

One of my favorite dentist offices I’ve been to. They make sure things are done correctly the first time - are always kind and have never made me feel out of place - along with being understanding. I’d recommend anyone to them!

Great office! We were new in the area and had the hardest time finding an office that could see us this year! They were able to schedule my husband and I to accommodate being able to trade off with our kids. The appointment was very streamlined getting X-rays, the hygienist Lynn was very kind and gentle, and Dr. Drake was very kind as well! Would recommend!
