About Yabar Dental
Yabar Dental operates on University Avenue in the Eastside area of Riverside, California. Implants are considered by many dentists the most durable way to replace a missing tooth, since the titanium post fuses with the jaw bone over several months and then supports a crown that functions much like a natural tooth. Enough healthy bone is the main prerequisite, and a graft can build that up first if needed.
A veneer is a thin custom shell bonded to the front of a tooth to change its shape, length, or colour, most often used to address chips, gaps, or discoloration that whitening alone cannot fix. Traditional veneers require a small amount of enamel to be removed, which makes the change permanent.
Cosmetic treatment is generally the least invasive branch of dentistry, built around changing how teeth look rather than fixing something broken. Whitening and bonding sit at the lighter end; veneers and reshaping involve more planning. Most cosmetic dental insurance excludes this kind of work, since it is elective rather than medically necessary.
Emergency dental care covers sudden problems that will not wait for a routine appointment — severe pain, a knocked-out or fractured tooth, swelling, or a lost filling that leaves a tooth exposed. Same-day or urgent appointments are the point of an emergency service, rather than the standard multi-week booking window.
Dentures replace some or all of the natural teeth in a jaw with a removable appliance, custom-fitted to the mouth. A full denture replaces every tooth; a partial fills gaps where some natural teeth remain. Because the jaw bone reshapes over time, dentures typically need adjusting or remaking periodically.
Professional teeth whitening uses a peroxide-based gel, applied under supervision at a strength stronger than anything sold over the counter, to lift years of staining from coffee, tea, red wine, and tobacco. It works on natural enamel only — existing crowns, veneers, and fillings keep whatever shade they were made in. Oh absolutely not. They will be hearing from a lawyer. I went in with the intention of getting work done to renew my smile and this office is extremely unprofessional. They have a new manager who doesn’t know what’s she’s doing, extremely rude, condescending and stand offish. I went in for my first appointment to start my dental work and they asked can I come an hour earlier just to have me waiting in the chair an hour plus! I could’ve came at my original time. Very unprofessional. Talking so much, laughing , discussing things that should be discussed outside of work. I didn’t care I just wanted my work done. Today I came in for my appointment and my blood pressure was high. Understood. They told me they had to take it again in 5 minutes. Understood. Then they tried to say it AGAIN. Okay NO. They have to wait extremely long for nothing. I wasn’t mad they couldn’t treat me but spending 50$ to get there I needed some type of work done to get my money worth. This rude MANAGER says that’s they are gonna refund me and i have to find another dentist to go to they weren’t going to continue to treat me because I pointed out their unprofessionalism. Please don’t go here. Terrible environment. Loved the front office staff. He was nice. But that’s about it. Terrible work on her as well. You’ll see what I mean. Save yourself the trouble and find an environment that will get the job done best for you. It is NOT THEM.

The person who sits at the front desk not once has a smile now I know why she doesn't care about a patients this is.my thoughts I've been there many times she does not acknowledge you ..I missed my appt.so.when.i called to explain I could make it but I will be late she like nope you have to pay a $45. Late fee I cannot rescheduled unless that's paid I was not given the choice to pay on.my next visit she like I will just send your authorization back to your insurance people becareful she really not a nice person. If you miss your appt get ready for the front desk clerk to change big difference she says I'm the manager
First time going wasn't bad at all. I just went in for x-rays knowing I'd come later for my 4 wisdom tooth removed. Called a couple days before my appointment saying I had tooth pain and was told that means they can come out. They asked for my pharmacy and I assumed they were giving me pain medication instead medication for my nerves to calm me down for anxiety. After numbing me did they want to fill out paperwork and that I need to pay 1,300 for both bottom teeth for bone narrow. Aftercare wasn't explained at all only gave me a doctor's note saying not to lift heavy. The aftercare is vague. I had to do my own research before and after. I'm currently at work day 3 and I work a physical job and didn't know I'm not suppose to be bending down. If your dentist refers you here ask for another option. I'm afraid I'll accidentally dislodge the blood clot or get dry socket for not being properly informed. I tried asking questions while all numb, but couldn't talk well and felt they weren't very helpful. They should specify aftercare to you. Also the surgeon doesn't need to scare patients saying slight pressure is going to to bother you. It wasn't painful at all, but I was afraid over nothing the way he phrased things. Worst part is they are closed the weekends so I can't even call to be excused from work today. I will follow up with my own dentist Monday morning.
I Started going to this dentist a couple weeks ago. I complained about the same pain I’ve had for several years that I’ve been to several different dentists for and they all found something else to fix except the side I was complaining about. This dentist listened to what I was saying and actually found the problem on her first try. I had a crack that was hard to find but she found it. Now they are working to save my tooth instead of pulling it. They’re all very pleasant and polite. They do great work listening and taking care of the actual problem. I’m very happy I found them. They are the best in the area that I’ve tried so far. I highly recommend them. They take you in by your appointment time which is important and they don’t just leave you waiting in a room, they actually come take care of you and get you out without wasting your time waiting for help. It’s a great experience here especially if you’re nervous about the dentist.
I've been a patient of Dr. Yabar for 14 years, at both the Corona and Riverside office. I've received EXCELLENT (pain-free) service each and every visit. He and his staff are HIGHLY SKILLED, and very mindful of your specific needs. Even though I moved out of the area 3 years ago, I'm happy to make the drive to keep him my dentist - for life.
