Allstate Benefits is the marketing name for American Heritage Life Insurance Company, based in Jacksonville, Florida, which underwrites workplace supplemental and voluntary benefits including group dental insurance. It sells through employers rather than directly to the public, covering employees and their families alongside products such as accident, critical illness, disability and vision. American Heritage Life was founded in 1956 and was acquired by The Allstate Corporation in 1999. The Standard completed its acquisition of Allstate's Employer Voluntary Benefits business, largely comprising American Heritage Life, on 1 April 2025, and that business is moving to The Standard brand.
