BCBS FEP Dental, also marketed as FEP BlueDental, is a dental plan offered through the Federal Employees Dental and Vision Insurance Program (FEDVIP), the supplemental benefit programme established by the US Office of Personnel Management under the Federal Employee Dental and Vision Benefits Enhancement Act of 2004. It is administered by Blue Cross Blue Shield's Federal Employee Program and is available to federal and USPS employees, federal and USPS retirees, retired uniformed service members and their eligible family members. It uses a nationwide network of participating dentists and also covers care received overseas. Enrolment is handled through BENEFEDS, the government-authorised FEDVIP enrolment portal, not directly with the plan.
