Teachers Health Fund Dental
About Teachers Health Fund Dental
Teachers Health is a not-for-profit Australian private health insurer and a restricted-membership fund, meaning eligibility is limited rather than open to the general public. It was established in 1954 by the NSW Teachers Federation, and membership is available to current and former members of education unions — including teachers, lecturers, teachers' aides and school support and administrative staff — along with defined family members. It is the largest of Australia's restricted-access funds and forms part of the Teachers Health Group, which also includes TUH. Dental benefits are provided within its extras (general treatment) cover.
