I absolutely love this office! It’s so hard to find a great dentist in NYC, but this practice truly has it all. The staff is always warm and welcoming, the dental cleanings are thorough, and they take the time to educate you on how to properly care for your oral health. I hadn’t been back in about a year, but after trying to book elsewhere and having my appointment canceled, I realized just how much I appreciated the care and service at Astor Smile. Dr. Jo and Dr. Rammal are so kind, and I love going to their office! I’ve never had a painful treatment. Dr. Rammal fixed one tooth that had been aching every time I drank even room temperature water for the past few years, even though there was no cavity. I’ve had really positive experiences here. One thing that stood out is that the dentists themselves perform the cleanings, rather than handing it off entirely to a hygienist. It made the visit feel much more thorough and personalized. I also really appreciated their honesty and conservative approach. They advised against getting a bridge that had been recommended to me by another provider. That gave me a lot more confidence that they’re focused on what’s best for the patient rather than pushing extra procedures. He had helped resolved my inflamed and receding gum issues due to periodontal disease. He is professional, pleasant, HONEST, and knowledgeable.
