About Complete Dental Care
Complete Dental Care is a dental practice on Avenue P in Brooklyn, New York. Oral cancer screening is a standard part of a routine dental checkup — a visual and physical examination of the soft tissues looking for sores, lumps, or patches that have not healed. Early detection is the main reason regular attendance matters even when nothing seems wrong.
Comprehensive care generally means a practice can handle most of a patient's dental needs in-house — preventive, restorative, and often minor cosmetic or surgical treatment — reducing how often patients are referred elsewhere for routine work.
Children benefit from starting dental visits early, generally by their first birthday or within six months of the first tooth coming through, mainly so they become familiar with the setting before any treatment is actually needed. Establishing that routine early tends to make ongoing checkups far less stressful for both child and parent.
Payment and insurance arrangements vary by practice and by treatment, so it is worth asking directly what is covered and what options exist for anything that is not, rather than assuming either way. Getting that clarified before treatment starts avoids surprises once it is underway.
Beyond any single treatment, most dental visits start with an examination — checking for decay, reviewing the gums, and looking at existing fillings or crowns — often alongside X-rays where there is a reason to look between or beneath teeth. That groundwork is what a dentist uses to explain any findings and set out next steps before you leave.
Routine attendance, roughly every six months for most people, is what actually keeps small problems small. A lot of decay and gum disease develops without any pain in its early stages, which is why regular checkups matter even when nothing seems to be wrong, rather than only booking an appointment once something hurts. Ive been trying to get dental work with this office for 2 years. They have the worst scheduling. If you end up waiting less than a half hour, it must be a mistake. This is the 3rd time I've waited 2 hours or more to get a root canal. Each time I went up, I was told it would be a little longer. The front desk are nice, but I don't have the luxury of waiting 3 hours to get a root canal.
Many people complaining about wait times, some are complaining about fraud 👀 someone claim they was bill for work that was not done! If that is true pay attention to your EOB! Contact the office ask a question!!! (Wait time) Name one great dental office that never runs behind time occasionally? Fillings, root canals, dental implants ect not to mention quality patient care all take time. If you feel the wait isn't worth it, then you have every right to go elsewhere. But the reason people stay and wait is because they know these dentists are exceptional at what they do. I travel three hours to see them, and yes, sometimes I wait. One of my visit was a same day appointment I was in pain ! My original appointment wasn't even scheduled for the procedure I had! (Root canal) yet the doctor took the time to treat me rather than make me come back another day. Throughout the entire experience, I was treated with respect, empathy, and genuine care. Knowing I had a long drive home, my doctor not only sent a prescription to a nearby pharmacy but also provided medication in the office so I could start treatment immediately. Tell me—how many dental offices would go above and beyond like that? To those leaving negative reviews solely because of wait times, please consider the quality of care you're receiving. You always have a choice to stay or go elsewhere, but it's unfair to overlook outstanding treatment because of a delay. The level of care at this office is above standard. They truly put their patients first, and that's why I'll continue making the trip to see them. I live in CT and travel to see them in BKLYN! I checks all my EOB online so I’m not worried about fraud as other is claiming! Never had a billing issue! I will post my EOB when it comes in!!!
I've been coming here for years and I've never had any real issues. Yeah the wait times can be absolutely horrendous but I usually never mind waiting when I know I'm getting quality service. Recently I had a cavity filled in over a month ago with Dr.Adam to which his bedside manner was not that good. He rushed my filling and when I told him I had a high point he replied "I just checked it, it's fine," to which I said it doesn't feel fine. After doing another bite test he gave a snarky reply and said "Well, you weren't biting that hard before." I mean my mouth was pretty numb but I just disregarded that. After the small adjustment I could still feel it was off, and he brushed me off again saying that it's "fine." I had to then come in the next day because my teeth were hitting before closing my mouth all the way, and Dr.Brian saw that it was obviously still high by just looking in my mouth. However, I had to keep coming in couple times for adjustments. Which I didn't mind because Dr.Brian and Dr.Adhut were very kind and eventually fixed my problem. I am now writing this review because I can't chew on the right side of my mouth because of those same teeth, I am having so much pain even chewing soft foods. So I called in and the receptionist was so nice (as always) and got me an appointment same day. That day I was met with Dr.Adam again and I began to tell him about what was going on with the filling he did which he almost sounded defensive saying "Well, It's my work and the fillings look fine." Honestly being a little dismissive and downplaying my pain. He even asked me If I ate popcorn or something and replied I don't even eat popcorn. Which he sarcastically said "Yeah, that's what they all say." Whatever, he told me I could use sensodyne to try and alleviate my problem which till this day hasn't helped one bit, even with putting the toothpaste on the floss. He said if that didn't work he would have to redo them but I'm honestly skeptical because I'm not fond of his bedside manner. I don't think I'll be returning here.
Thank you, Complete Dental! I’ve been coming here for over a year, starting with a dental emergency. The entire team deserves recognition for their outstanding service. From the front desk staff to the dentists, everyone has been professional, caring, and welcoming. I truly appreciate the excellent care I’ve received. Amazing service. They truly takes care of your dental needs!
The dental office experience was disappointing due to excessive wait times and apparent overbooking. Despite arriving on time for my scheduled appointment, I waited well beyond the expected timeframe before being seen over 2 hours . It appeared that too many patients were scheduled at the same time, which created congestion in the waiting area and delayed care. This lack of proper scheduling not only caused inconvenience but also demonstrated poor time management and consideration for patients’ schedules.
Chini is an outstanding dental hygienist! he is extremely professional, gentle, and knowledgeable, which made my visit comfortable and stress-free. he took the time to explain everything he was doing and gave helpful tips for better oral care. He attention to detail and genuine care for patients really stand out. I left feeling confident, well cared for, and with the cleanest teeth I’ve ever had. Highly recommend Chini to anyone looking for an amazing hygienist!
Thank you to Sanchiny and Joseph for their attention to care and great customer service today. My dental cleaning and exam was painless and efficient. Thank you always Dr. Mordehai at Complete Dental Care 😃
No one can tell me anything bad about Dr. Ahdut and his team. They are superb. They’re caring, inviting, and always willing to help. Every visit feels comfortable, and they explain everything clearly so you always know what’s going on. Their work is excellent, and I always leave feeling confident about my smile. The office is clean, organized, and welcoming. They’ve been consistent from day one, and the level of care never changes. Let’s not forget about Chini. He’s excellent at what he does. He takes his time, cleans your teeth thoroughly, and you can feel the difference right away. My teeth and mouth always feel fresh and clean after he’s done. I recommend them to anyone who wants a dentist who truly cares about their patients.
