About Croasdaile Dental Arts
Croasdaile Dental Arts provides dental care on Croasdaile Drive in the Croasdaile Farm Master area of Durham, North Carolina. Implants are considered by many dentists the most durable way to replace a missing tooth, since the titanium post fuses with the jaw bone over several months and then supports a crown that functions much like a natural tooth. Enough healthy bone is the main prerequisite, and a graft can build that up first if needed.
A veneer is a thin custom shell bonded to the front of a tooth to change its shape, length, or colour, most often used to address chips, gaps, or discoloration that whitening alone cannot fix. Traditional veneers require a small amount of enamel to be removed, which makes the change permanent.
Cosmetic treatment is generally the least invasive branch of dentistry, built around changing how teeth look rather than fixing something broken. Whitening and bonding sit at the lighter end; veneers and reshaping involve more planning. Most cosmetic dental insurance excludes this kind of work, since it is elective rather than medically necessary.
Emergency dental care covers sudden problems that will not wait for a routine appointment — severe pain, a knocked-out or fractured tooth, swelling, or a lost filling that leaves a tooth exposed. Same-day or urgent appointments are the point of an emergency service, rather than the standard multi-week booking window.
Professional teeth whitening uses a peroxide-based gel, applied under supervision at a strength stronger than anything sold over the counter, to lift years of staining from coffee, tea, red wine, and tobacco. It works on natural enamel only — existing crowns, veneers, and fillings keep whatever shade they were made in.
General dentistry covers the routine and restorative care most people need most often — examinations, cleanings, fillings, and preventive checks that catch problems while they are still small and inexpensive to treat. Regular attendance, roughly every six months for most patients, is what makes that early-catch approach actually work. Very personable and understanding. I was very impressed with all the staff.
I am 75 years old and have excellent teeth thanks to the excellent care I get from Croasdaile Dental Arts. My original dentist has retired and now Dr. Turner takes excellent care of my dental needs. I drive from Pittsboro so they have to be excellent. The support staff from registration to check out are outstanding. I can't think of too many places you can go to for over 40 years with not one complaint but this is one place.
My visit to Croasdaile Dental Arts was great except for the fact that I had to have my tooth worked on. Dr Turner was very professional and friendly. He quickly determined that my problem was not as bad as I had feared and outlined the needed treatment precisely and clearly. His assistant Kim also very professional and friendly. The staff at the front desk were also great.
The new female dentist I met was thorough. She felt around my neck and jaws. She had me to bite down to check my chewing. She looked at the back of my throat and underneath my tongue. This experience was different so I really liked her. In addition, it was good to experience a woman dentist, although I love my dentist, Dr. Butler. My hugest was great as well!.
Best dental experience I’ve had in a long time. Kim was excellent and my x-rays were pain-free even though I have tori and the x-ray plates usually hurt my mouth. Dr. Turner was very thorough, addressed all of my concerns, and was very personable and engaging. Smooth process from check in to check out. Highly recommend!
I had an excellent experience with Dr. Butler at Croasdaile Dental Arts. From the moment I walked in, the entire team was welcoming, professional, and genuinely caring. Dr. Butler took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all of my questions, and made sure I was comfortable throughout my visit. His attention to detail, gentle approach, and commitment to quality care really stood out. It’s clear that he values both his patients’ oral health and their overall experience. If you’re looking for a dentist who is knowledgeable, compassionate, and dedicated to providing exceptional care, I highly recommend Dr. Butler and the team at Croasdaile Dental Arts. Thank you for making what could have been a stressful appointment such a positive experience!
Best dental experience I've ever had. Dr. Cole was awesome. Abby was awesome. The whole team there is really great. If anyone is looking for a new dental office, these are the guys and gals I'm recommending. I definitely wont be going anywhere else. Thanks a ton guys
My family has been patients of Croasdaile Dental for more than 40 years. The staff has provided excellent care through those 40 years. From cleanings to Dr Butlers suggestions about long term preventative care. I am now living in the time frame of "long term" and can confirm my dental health is better for not ignoring Dr. Butler. I am very thankful I found them 40 years ago.
