About Dallas Center for Oral Health and Wellness

Dallas Center for Oral Health and Wellness provides dental care on Forest Lane in the North Dallas area of Dallas, Texas. Implants are considered by many dentists the most durable way to replace a missing tooth, since the titanium post fuses with the jaw bone over several months and then supports a crown that functions much like a natural tooth. Enough healthy bone is the main prerequisite, and a graft can build that up first if needed.

Clear aligners straighten teeth through a series of custom, removable trays, each worn for one to two weeks before moving to the next in the sequence. They suit mild to moderate crowding and spacing well, and are worn roughly twenty to twenty-two hours a day for treatment to stay on schedule.

Cosmetic treatment is generally the least invasive branch of dentistry, built around changing how teeth look rather than fixing something broken. Whitening and bonding sit at the lighter end; veneers and reshaping involve more planning. Most cosmetic dental insurance excludes this kind of work, since it is elective rather than medically necessary.

A crown covers an entire damaged tooth — used when too much structure is missing for a filling to hold reliably, whether from a large fracture, extensive decay, or after root canal treatment. It restores both the shape and the biting strength of the tooth underneath.

A bridge replaces one or more missing teeth by anchoring a false tooth to crowns placed on the teeth either side of the gap, creating a fixed replacement rather than a removable one. It is a longstanding alternative to an implant, particularly when the neighbouring teeth already need crowns.

Sedation dentistry uses inhaled, oral, or intravenous options to help patients relax through treatment, ranging from nitrous oxide for mild anxiety through to deeper sedation for longer or more involved procedures. It is commonly used for patients who have avoided the dentist for years due to fear. Another great visit. I've had some good hygienists in my lifetime, but Olive is at the top of the list. Super nice, super sweet, gentle, and all has always positive encouraging comments that have me leaving with a smile. Thank you, Olive!!

Very friendly and professional staff who cares for patient wellbeing and satisfaction. I had a bad case of canker sores which the Dr addressed on the first day but unfortunately, I was still in pain. I called in the next day and the Dr treated me again without a cost. Additionally, there was misinformation/misunderstanding about a product but the office refunded me in full because of my dissatisfaction. Good faith practices like these have made me a loyal patient :)

Excellent service! Everyone was so kind from the moment I arrived! I'm the mother of a young man with autism, and they were incredibly patient with us! I also have to mention that they have staff who speak Spanish. Oh, and I almost forgot something very important… the whole process was incredibly fast! We were seen very quickly as soon as we arrived, and the doctor attended to him right away… I highly recommend them.

The staff at Center for Oral Health & Wellness came highly recommended by our son's special needs pediatric dentist to continue his oral care in adulthood. We are more than pleased that the recommendation was fitting, as we have been pleased with the excellence, professionalism & compassion shown by Dr. Willison and her team. Your loved ones will be in great hands at Center for Oral Health & Wellness.

I am writing to express my disappointment regarding the communication surrounding my recent appointment. I initially had an appointment scheduled on and was informed that it needed to be rescheduled (after it was canceled on me). I promptly complied and selected a new date and time through the online appointment scheduler, from which I received email confirmation of a new appointment. To ensure everything was correct, I also called the office and left a message requesting confirmation (during normal business hours, on 2/23). Unfortunately, I did not receive a return call or any indication that there was an issue with the new appointment time (for 3/2). Because I had previously received a confirmation, I proceeded with attending the appointment as scheduled — only to learn that it had been canceled without any communication to me. This was at 4:30 on a Monday, to which someone in the back rudely said "well... it IS 4:30" as if surprised that someone would show up to an appointment at a time that was noted as an available option with their own scheduling portal. As a patient, I rearranged my schedule based on the information provided by the office, and the lack of follow-up or notification was both frustrating and inconvenient. Clear and timely communication is especially important when coordinating care. Unfortunately, we did not see any providers and will most certainly not seek care from this office. Perhaps we dodged a bullet; if there is difficulty managing something as rote as appointment scheduling, I have serious doubts of the ability to manage a complex and expensive sensitive oral procedure. If this was a miscommunication, the provider at the least could have returned my call from 2/23.

Today was our first visit at Dallas Center for Oral Health& Wellness. With our little brother (with special needs) having a bad experience with his previous dentist, My family and I was a little nervous. The dentist and staff assured us that everything will be okay, and it was.. From the receptionist to the dentist. We were so pleased with our first visit. My brother thanked us for finding him a new dentist that he really likes.... We look forward to seeing everyone in May.

Today’s appointment was for an exam and cleaning. After arriving, the Hygienist, Olive, took me back promptly. She did a great job cleaning my teeth. After she finished, she informed me that Dr. Carr left the practice. I really like Dr. Carr and will miss her. A new dentist came in and introduced herself before doing a thorough check on my teeth and gums. She was excellent. 👍 I stayed with my last Dentist 34 years before he retired. I hope I can stay with my next dentist for many years to come; I like consistency.

My 23 year old son, with Disabilities has been a patient of Dr Willisons for a few years. She has always allowed him (and me) time and space to get comfortable before doing any procedure. She also went out of her way to help us locate humanitarian aid for the many crowns he needed. We are grateful for her and her staff and continue to refer them to our community of friends who have children with special needs.
