Dallas Periodontal great place to have dental work done. Had my teeth cleaned to by a very good and friendly professional. They have state of art equipment. No scraping and no pain. My wife had some gum surgery done it was perfectly done. Her doctor was great and professional.

Excellent experience and clean teeth too! Highly recommend Dr Tanure. I have been one of his patients since he went into practicing periodontal dentistry several decades ago.

I started seeing Dr. Ovadia last year for gum recession and underwent a gum graft surgery. He did an excellent job, and I now alternate my teeth cleanings between here and my dentist. They do SUCH a good job with my teeth cleanings. I love everyone who works here! All of the dental hygienists and staff are so friendly, and the office is always clean and inviting.

The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. When I got lost trying to find the office, they called to check on me and even sent someone outside to help me find my way. The dentist had such a warm and positive attitude that it immediately made me feel comfortable. He walked me through my treatment plan and explained everything in a way that even a five-year-old could understand. The entire experience felt warm and comforting, like family

Dr. Tanur spent as long as I needed to explain the x-rays and treatment for me. He is easy to talk to and genuinely concerned for my health. I felt no pressure to make any quick decisions. He is a caring professional.

I had an excellent experience with Dr. Ovadia for my dental implant procedure. He is truly an amazing, painless doctor and an outstanding surgeon. From the consultation to the final results, everything was handled with professionalism, care, and precision. I was honestly nervous at first, but the procedure was smooth and much more comfortable than I expected. Dr. Ovadia explains everything clearly and makes sure you feel calm and confident every step of the way. The results are incredible, and the entire staff provides great service every time. I’ve been so happy with my experience that I’ve brought my family to him as well — and they’ve all received the same excellent care. I highly recommend Dr. Ovadia to anyone looking for top-quality dental implants and a truly pain-free experience!

Edit: please see the before and 3 month post- procedure picture attached to see that this is not a “ changes in gum contour or pigmentation” that “can occur as part of the body’s natural healing response.” Also if it is a “known biological possibilities whenever gum tissue is repositioned”, I guess I’m supposed to as a patient just know that without any disclosure from the doctor. But most importantly what is being glossed over here AND when I reached out to their office a couple of days after my procedure is the doctor’s admittance right after the procedure that they have "removed some hyperpigmentation". I’ve tried to express my concerns to the doctor who refuses to acknowledge what happened and chalked up my atrocious results to a normal part of the procedure. Additionally, the crown lengthening itself didn’t even result in a significant result for it to be worth all of this unnecessary trauma and drama. I opted out of returning to the doctor for post op follow up and instead went to a different doctor after requesting my procedure notes. So my gum is not lighter due to lack of “proper healing, careful adherence to post-operative instructions, and completion of recommended follow-up visits” as their response here is insinuating. Original post: Went in for crown lengthening and came out with a lightened gum. The doctor told me as I was waking up from the anesthesia that they had "removed some hyperpigmentation." After coming home I realized what happened I was so upset that an important part of my smile that hold a cultural significance is completely wiped. The doctor insists that this is not an intentional lightening of my gum although they clearly said to me that they've "removed some hyperpigmentation" but also they never mentioned in my consultation that this was a possibility nor was it indicated in the consent form. I consulted with a different periodontist after the fact and after reviewing my consent form, that makes no mention of lighter gum as an outcome of a crown lengthening, they suspect that this may have been done, because to some, a lighter gum is "aesthetically preferred". Gum lightening maybe the "in thing" to do right now but I absolutely didn't consent to it. In fact I hate my results so much that I wish I never altered my original smile. I recommend anyone who wouldn't want alterations to their smile on a whim of a doctor to avoid this place.
