Framwellgate Dental Surgery

I haven't been seen yet but just wanted to say the receptionist was so kind and helpful to help me book an emergency appointment online. Edit.., Was seen today for a tooth out and have to say thankyou to the dentist, she was great. Explaining everything and no pain whilst tooth taken out so thanks again for all your help.

Mine was an emergency appointment while away from home, which is always an anxious experience. The dentist and dental nurse were calm, supportive and lovely. Highly recommended.

Go for an emergency NHS appointment and they’ll basically yell you that they don’t care about you once they’ve done what you’ve been sent there for. Had a cracked tooth that needed removing and simply refused to give any advice whatsoever regarding what I could do about the gap it would leave.. if I’m having a visible tooth removed I want to know the options I have? No work was actually done, nobody mentioned anything about having to pay and then they’ll send you a letter demanding money. If there was something to pay why wouldn’t they just tell you after seeing the dentist? What an amazing experience! Since gone private and they’ve been absolutely brilliant.

I was given an emergency appointment from 111 with this practise. A previous appointment with a different dental practise left me in agony, after a tooth extraction. The gentleman I was seen by was so kind, understanding, put me at ease straight away and he could tell the pain I was in and was really gentle looking in my mouth. He gave me antibiotics for an infection .I would 100% go back to this practise, all the staff were really nice.

On holiday and had awful toothache. After calling 111, they asked me to attend the dental practice. A lovely warm welcome from reception staff. On entering the surgery, the dentist and dental nurse were amazing at making me feel calm (very anxious patient!). All aspects of the treatment had been clearly explained. I can’t thank the team enough for relieving me of the horrible pain and removing the tooth. It was the best experience of an extraction. Many many thanks

Thank you to the amazing receptionist who saved me. I came in the wrong month for an emergency appointment i had booked online (Didnt look at the month). They gave me another the day after. Special mention to the dentist Wendy and her assistant. Fantastic personality and phenomenal dentist. I was truely shocked at the lack of pain from a wisdom tooth extraction with just gum numbing. Great dentist, this is coming from someone who has avoided the dentist for 15 years.

Excellent service from Miss Sharma for an emergency appointment. It was clear my extraction wasn’t straightforward but from the moment I entered the dentists room I felt well cared for and had everything throughly explained. I’d had a few bad experiences at another practice in the past but the service I received here was exceptional. Thank you very much.

My name is Kevin Watt and I have just attended the Framwellgate Moor Dental Practice this morning for my 6 monthly appointment which once again was excellent and I feel I must point out the Service and attention to detail was faultless. From the Receptionists greeting then seeing Wendy for my check up and x rays, followed by Zoe and Claire for my hygiene appointment, I must reiterate this practice is the best I have experienced and feel I must praise every member of staff who dealt with my appointment. Customer care counts for a lot in my opinion as well as the treatment and I have never had an issue in either respect and can only speak highly of how the practice is run. I trust this review will be fed back through the channels of communication as too many times bad press is highlighted and not enough praise when the service is excellent is relayed to those who are at the front end.
