About Newport Dental Arts

Newport Dental Arts is located at Town Square Place in the Newport waterfront district of Jersey City, New Jersey, a busy, walkable neighborhood of high-rises and commuters where having a capable dental office close to home or work is a real convenience. The practice operates as a general office built to handle the full range of everyday dental needs while offering cosmetic and restorative options under the same roof. General dentistry is the foundation: exams, cleanings, fillings, and the preventive care that keeps teeth and gums healthy and catches problems while they are still small. For the residents and professionals who fill the Newport area, that kind of dependable, ongoing maintenance fits neatly into a schedule that does not leave much room for dental emergencies or last-minute scrambles. For patients who want to improve their smile, the practice offers cosmetic dentistry, porcelain veneers, and professional teeth whitening. Veneers can reshape chipped or uneven front teeth and close small gaps, while whitening lifts staining from coffee, tea, and city life. Because these services are part of the same office, a cosmetic conversation can grow naturally out of a routine checkup rather than requiring a separate specialist across town. When teeth are missing, dental implants provide a fixed, natural-feeling replacement that restores chewing and keeps neighboring teeth properly aligned. Emergency dentistry is available too, which matters in a dense urban area where a cracked tooth or sudden ache needs a nearby answer rather than a long trip out of the neighborhood. The practice suits Jersey City professionals and Newport-area residents who want one convenient office for prevention, cosmetics, and restoration alike, as well as anyone who values being able to walk to thorough dental care. Whether someone needs a regular cleaning, is weighing veneers, or is ready to replace a lost tooth, Newport Dental Arts brings those services together right on the waterfront, close to where its patients already live and work.

Newport Dental Arts at Town Square Place in Jersey City, New Jersey serves the Newport waterfront area with general dentistry, cosmetic care, porcelain veneers, teeth whitening, and dental implants, plus emergency appointments.

Amazing experience from start to finish. The dental cleaning was incredibly thorough, and the X-rays and overall check-up made me feel like nothing was overlooked. The doctor was kind, professional, and made the whole visit genuinely comfortable, something you don’t always expect at the dentist. Highly recommend.

For anyone reading this, I want you to know I moved to another state and I still come to see Dr. Z. Recently, he did work on me to perfection, and I will come to see him, no matter where I live. He is the nicest, most conscientious person, and I truly feel valued and like family when I talk to him. He really makes you feel you're in control even though he's the dentist, and I appreciate that! His receptionist is also the most calm efficient person as well, and its just a recipe for GREATNESS! His office is so calm and zen, without the hustle you might expect, and I love that! Dr. Z is the best dentist I've ever had, and he is more than just that, he's family! I LOVE YOU DR. Z!!!!!

I always have a great experience with Dr.Zazzaro. I come here to get cleanings and I also came to get my crown done since I had a root canal for years. The crown came out PERFECT. You can’t even tell it’s a crown. I also have a filling done for my cavity here and it went great. He does the work so easy and gentle and Dr.Zazzaro always has a kind and calm demeanor.

Dr. Lazzaro is good but his receptionist is rude and unprofessional. Won't be going back

Absolutely to be avoided! The doctor is kind and competent. However, the receptionist is completely unprofessional and rude, with an attitude that makes interactions unpleasant. She seems depressed and unhappy in her role, which creates a heavy and negative atmosphere in the office. You can definitely find plenty of other places where you'll receive both a warm welcome and professional care, and feel at ease. Neither I nor any member of my family will ever return to this place.

Dr. Zazzaro is a great dentist!!! I had had a dental problem for years that I had seen a few other dentists about and it was only getting worse. In my first cleaning with Dr. Zazzaro he gave me a couple tips on my daily routine and the problem instantly vanished. Also, he does his own cleanings and they are the least painful I’ve ever had. “Comfortable” isn’t the right word, but I think it’s fair to call them “painless,” which is saying a lot!
