About Northeast Dallas Dentistry
Northeast Dallas Dentistry is a dental practice on East Northwest Highway in the Vickery Meadow area of Dallas, Texas. Dentures replace some or all of the natural teeth in a jaw with a removable appliance, custom-fitted to the mouth. A full denture replaces every tooth; a partial fills gaps where some natural teeth remain. Because the jaw bone reshapes over time, dentures typically need adjusting or remaking periodically.
Beyond any single treatment, most dental visits start with an examination — checking for decay, reviewing the gums, and looking at existing fillings or crowns — often alongside X-rays where there is a reason to look between or beneath teeth. That groundwork is what a dentist uses to explain any findings and set out next steps before you leave.
Routine attendance, roughly every six months for most people, is what actually keeps small problems small. A lot of decay and gum disease develops without any pain in its early stages, which is why regular checkups matter even when nothing seems to be wrong, rather than only booking an appointment once something hurts.
A first appointment at a new practice typically covers a full examination, a review of your dental and medical history, and a professional cleaning, with X-rays if you do not have recent ones. It is also a reasonable time to raise any longer-term concerns, cosmetic or otherwise, so they can be factored into a plan going forward.
Day-to-day oral health still comes down to the basics between visits — brushing twice daily with fluoride toothpaste, cleaning between the teeth, and limiting how often sugary food and drink appear through the day matters more than the total amount eaten at once. Regular professional care is what catches whatever those habits do not.
Digital X-rays are a routine part of dental care because they show what a visual exam alone cannot — decay forming between teeth, bone loss below the gumline, and how developing adult teeth are positioned in children. They use a low radiation dose and are taken on a schedule matched to individual risk rather than at every single visit. This page has the practice's contact details and full service list. Northeast Dallas Dentistry is a great place and the staff are great. Very friendly and a welcoming enviornment.
Excellent service.
Thanks to Dr Santillian! She took the time to help me with some ongoing TMJ issues and dental concerns.
I had an excellent experience with Northeast Dallas Dentistry from start to finish. I needed to have a tooth removed and replaced, and the entire process was handled professionally and with great care. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and always made sure I felt comfortable every step of the way. The dentist took the time to explain everything clearly, answer my questions, and make sure I was at ease throughout the procedure. What could have been a stressful experience ended up being much smoother than I expected. I highly recommend Northeast Dallas Dentistry to anyone looking for quality dental care. Their team truly goes above and beyond for their patients. 10/10 experience!
We had an outstanding experience with Northeast Dallas Dentistry. My daughter is a student at SMU and unexpectedly needed her wisdom teeth removed as soon as possible. When I called, Isaiah was incredibly helpful, professional and understanding of the situation. He was able to get my daughter seen the very same day and worked quickly to help schedule her wisdom tooth removal within the same week. The level of care, responsiveness and customer service was truly appreciated, especially as a parent trying to coordinate everything from out of town along with insurance questions being from out of state. A sincere thank you to Isaiah and the entire team at Northeast Dallas Dentistry for making a stressful situation much easier. Highly recommend!
Red flag!!! I visited this dental clinic for a routine cleaning a few weeks ago, and it turned into one of the most uncomfortable healthcare experiences I've had. After a brief examination, the dentist told me I needed a deep cleaning and quoted me around $1,000. The price immediately raised concerns, so I asked if I could simply have a regular cleaning that day and think about the deep cleaning later. I was told it was "too late" and that I would need to come back another day. After doing my own research and seeking additional information, I felt a regular cleaning was appropriate for my situation. So when I returned, I informed the front desk that I only wanted a standard cleaning. The response surprised me. I was asked whether my decision was because of the cost. When I said I only wanted a regular cleaning, the price for the deep cleaning suddenly dropped by 50% on the spot. That alone made me question how the original treatment plan and pricing had been determined. The most disappointing part came afterward. When the dentist entered the room, she appeared visibly unhappy and told me, "I'm only doing a regular cleaning for you this time. Next time, I won't." She then added, "I'll be very fast." And she wasn't kidding. The cleaning was completed in less than 15 minutes. It was rushed, extremely uncomfortable, and far more painful than any cleaning I've ever had before. Before I knew it, I was told the procedure was finished and I could leave. The sudden 50% discount, the dismissive attitude after I declined treatment, and the rushed cleaning made the entire experience feel less like healthcare and more like a sales operation. I left questioning whether the recommended procedure was truly necessary or simply the most profitable option. I will not be returning.
This clinic is wonderful and has amazing staff! I just moved to the area and had my first visit with them. Dr. Phillips was so kind and genuine and very easy to talk to! I ended up needing another procedure and she was very helpful and patient in explaining the whole process. Kennedy helped explain the financial side and was very easy to work out a suitable plan with. Dr. Middleton performed my second procedure and he was thorough and efficient. Maria is an excellent hygienist! I would highly recommend this clinic for any dental needs, I was very pleased with all my experiences and the level of care and attention to patients!
I’ve been coming here for over 5 years, and I can honestly say I’ve never had a better dental experience than I have with Dr. Santillan. Every visit feels personal—she always takes the time to ask how I’m doing and never makes the appointment feel rushed. She answers all of my questions thoroughly and consistently provides the support and reassurance I need. The front office staff is always extremely kind and professional. They follow up before appointments to make sure I have all the necessary information and to confirm everything is set, which I really appreciate. Recently, Maria has been my dental hygienist, and I couldn’t be happier with the care she provided. She was very thorough and took the time to share helpful resources and tips to improve my dental hygiene. Thank you to the entire staff for always being so generous, welcoming, and helpful. I truly appreciate the level of care I receive every time I visit
