I have extreme anxiety about dental visits leading to increasing avoidance and increased fear. (As a very young, shy and well behaved child I had a—no joke—sadistic dentist who drilled without any anesthetic and no assistant in the room; he would yell at me and call me a baby if he saw tears in my eyes.) The staff (dentist, dental assistants and front desk administrators) at NYC Smile Spa understand dental phobia and make you feel understood. No lectures! I’m at the beginning of a long haul (implant, crowns, fillings, etc), and so far so good. Dr. Krochak even kindly wrote me an email of encouragement before my first visit. Today when I walked in ready to have a panic attack, the two wonderful women at the front welcomed me by name and were so kind and comforting.

Dr. Finkelstein and Dr. Perlman are great. They explained everything for my whitening that was easy to understand. Dr. Finkelstein did a thorough examination and then a cleaning and polishing in some troubled areas in my mouth and it couldn’t have gone smoother!

Amazing dental clinic and team. Dr. Perlman and his staff, were knowledgeable, kind, and clearly care about what they do. Communication and scheduling were smooth, and the office was very responsive in accommodating questions and requests. I really appreciated that Dr. Pearlman was straightforward, explained my options clearly, and never made me feel pressured to do more than necessary. They were also able to get me in on short notice and perform surgery on an infected tooth the very next day. Overall, I had a great experience and felt very well taken care of.

My experience at nyc smile spa is always wonderful. Dr G did a awesome job. NYC Smile Spa is the way to go if your looking for professional dentistry.

I called to get pricing, she said she was going to call me back that day, or the next day the latest. I got things to do, and she never told me the price even 2-5 days after. I understand no one’s perfect, but I left my number for her to call back. That’s bad for business, and was a waste of my time. Now I’m no longer interested.

Excellent dental care, service, and professionalism at NYC Smile Spa! I came here for a cleaning and have come back for whitening, annual dental health checkups (no cavities lately), and I also got porcelain veneers which have really defined my smile. The staff is superbly trained, knowledgeable, and friendly, and the environment is calm, relaxing and aesthetically pleasing (very good art by the way). Dr. Krochak is a top-notch dentist and medical professional so I would highly recommend him & NYC Smile Spa to anyone with a mouth and teeth ;)

I've been seeing Dr. Perlman for over a decade! He goes above and beyond to ensure you feel comfortable during your visit, and the quality of his cosmetic dentistry is outstanding. I highly recommend both him and Dr. Krochack.
