Had a great experience working with the staff here. Everyone was very helpful and friendly from the front desk to the doctors. They made the whole process very easy to deal with and understand. Anette was one of a kind and is great at getting a smile out of you! I would highly recommend Orthodontic Experts to anyone who is looking into braces for themselves or their child. Thank me later. 😊
The staff were very friendly and professional. Especially the young lady Maria at the front desk. She made the process of checking in very simple and fast.
Doctors and staff were very helpful through our journey. Things look great and we are happy with their service. Having a central communication hub was tough at times when it was hard to talk to our office. Other than that things were good.
0 Stars. Waste of time. Do not trust your or your children’s teeth with these people. They have no clue what they are doing, and apparently no idea how insurance works. I am an adult needing braces out of medical necessity to restore function and prevent further damage, so in order for me to submit an appeal to my insurance company, the doctor’s pre-authorization needs to be properly coded and submitted to the insurance, so the insurance can deny and I can appeal it. This takes time, first off. And this is common knowledge in the dental industry. These medical professionals here told me my dentists needed to decide which teeth to extract to make room to correct that requires the ORTHODONTIST’S assessment in order to determine an actual treatment plan so the wrong tooth doesn’t get pulled! They didn’t discuss any plan with me or tell me anything else. They just took scans and sent me on my way with a scheduled follow-up phone appointment the following week. The next week, on the day of, I get a missed call and voicemail from them at 7:30 in the morning to “check in.” Thankfully I have my phone reasonably silenced until 9AM, so I didn’t get woken up. I chose not to return the call because they had already scheduled a 2PM call with me that day. They called me FIFTEEN minutes early. No respect for patient’s time. And then they dumbly asked me if I’d submitted the appeal to the insurance company. I said I could not submit an appeal until the doctor submits the orders, BECAUSE THERE HAS TO BE PAPERWORK IN ORDER FOR THE INSURANCE TO REVIEW IT. AGAIN, COMMON PRACTICE! I was told I would “receive something in the mail,” and the person I spoke with seemed ignorant on what I was explaining to her. I finally called back days later, after AS EXPECTED, I did not receive anything (because NEWSFLASH: the doctor didn’t SEND anything). I had to explain in detail why they need to submit the preauthorization so I CAN appeal. After wasting two weeks, a visit, and two phone calls of time, I finally get told that submitting adult orthodontia authorizations to insurance companies isn’t something they do because “the insurance won’t cover it.” EXCUSE ME: insurance CAN review adult cases if documentation of medical necessity can be submitted. I have THREE YEARS of dental records and TWO dentists stating that braces are medically necessary to restore function and prevent further damage to my teeth. Their utterly incompetent clinic just WONT submit it because they don’t want to deal with the paperwork. Do NOT recommend. Poor patient service, unprofessional, and ignorant.
Edea was amazing she took her time and made sure I felt comfortable and went over my treatment in great detail which I appreciate.
