About SmileSpace
SmileSpace is a general dentistry practice on Fulton Street in the Clinton Hill neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York. The office provides everyday dental care for adults in a modern, welcoming setting in central Brooklyn.
General dentistry at SmileSpace covers the routine care that keeps teeth and gums healthy over the long term — comprehensive examinations, professional cleanings, tooth-colored fillings, and monitoring for tooth decay and gum disease. Consistent preventive visits are the most dependable way to catch small problems early, and a thorough cleaning supports both the comfort and the appearance of a healthy smile.
The practice also handles treatment when a problem arises, including the kind of urgent situations — a painful or infected tooth, for example — where being seen quickly matters. The office aims to fit urgent visits in promptly, since prompt attention can keep a minor issue from becoming a more serious one.
A particular focus of the practice is making dental care approachable for people who have put off visits. For patients who feel embarrassed about the condition of their teeth or anxious about treatment, the office is set up to explain options clearly and without judgment, which can make returning to regular care considerably easier. The setting itself is designed to feel calm and comfortable rather than clinical.
For patients building a long-term relationship with a dental office, that combination of routine preventive care and a calm, judgment-free setting is what keeps checkups on schedule year after year. A first visit generally begins with an examination and a professional cleaning, after which the team explains any findings and discusses options clearly before any treatment is planned.
The Fulton Street location is convenient for residents across Clinton Hill, Fort Greene, and Bedford-Stuyvesant, with free street parking in the area, and is served by nearby subway lines. It was great to meet and chat with Dr.Corey Black and his wonderful team at the Atlantic Avenue fair in Brooklyn.I signed up to be contacted for a dental visit.Dr.Corey Black took his time to speak with everyone about the dental services. It was raining and all of the team and Dr.Corey Black were awesome and very friendly. Our dental health is worth it, when we leave with happy smiles. You can definitely tell when you meet people who love what they are doing. My respect and gratitude to all of the Smile Space team for taking their time to speak with me.I am looking forward to my dental visit to their Smile Space Brooklyn location.Thank you very much Smile Space team for being very kind and caring!
Great experience at Smile Space - they care for you and try to ensure that you have a good safe experience.
The actual space is very nice, friendly technicians and dentists. Unfortunately their scheduling has gotten worse over the years--putting me in at the wrong time, cancelling my appointment without notifying me, long wait times. Not worth it anymore.
Huanan was the most thorough hygienist I've ever had. She's great at her job.
I had such a great experience at SmileSpace! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed, comfortable, and genuinely cared for. The staff was extremely friendly, professional, attentive, and made the entire experience easy and stress-free. One thing that really stood out to me was how diverse and welcoming the office is. I love that they have bilingual staff members who can communicate with patients in different languages, which makes the environment feel even more inclusive and comfortable for everyone. I also love supporting a Black-owned dental office that provides such high-quality care and represents diversity so well. 🖤🙌🏾 Everything was clean, organized, and professional, and I never felt rushed or overlooked. If you're in Brooklyn and looking for a dental office with great service, a diverse team, and people who truly care about their patients, I definitely recommend SmileSpace. I will absolutely be coming back! ⭐️🦷✨
I had a great experience for my first cleaning. Everyone on the team was attentive, kind, and welcoming. They answered all of my questions, provided action steps for my dental hygiene between visits, and ensured that I was well taken care of. Would highly recommend SmileSpace to anyone.
Carl the hygienist who cleaned my teeth today 7/11/26 in Brooklyn was outstanding a total 5 star. Might very well be the least amount of pain I have ever felt in my life long dental visits. No pain or discomfort to be exact. Wish he would alway do my cleanings.
Smile Space is a five star rate for me. Staff is always professional and accommodating. The dental technicians are polite and handle you with care. The office is very clean.
Everyone, from the receptionist to the doctors, was compassionate and caring. The space is impeccable, and whoever is on the aux cord, 10/10; the music had me jamming! I highly recommend SmileSpace.
Friendly service and prompt
Amazing Cleanliness and Patience! Dr Black and the entire team were so gentle and professional. Dr B explained in detail my needs and options. Highly recommend and glad he is a welcomed breath of fresh air! Glad I finally found a Dental “home”🤗.
