I was initially very hesitant about getting a dental implant because it was my upper right #5 tooth, which is close to the sinus, and I even considered seeing an implant specialist. After meeting with Dr. Li Qian and discussing my CBCT findings and treatment plan in detail, I felt reassured by her professionalism, confidence, and thorough explanations. The implant surgery went much better than I expected. There was almost no bleeding, very little pain, and my recovery has been remarkably smooth. Dr. Qian is highly skilled, patient, and took the time to answer all of my questions, which gave me great confidence throughout the entire process. I'm very happy with my experience and truly appreciate the excellent care I received. I highly recommend Dr. Qian to anyone considering dental implant treatment.

My procedure went well. I wish they were totally up front with the price. Telling me that I was responsible for 187 of the amount but not telling me that I would have to pay that amount twice,or that it was a 2 part procedure.

Southpoint Dentistry in Durham, Dr. Qian, and her staff are very professional and extremely caring. Dr. Qian took time to listen to my medical concerns related to my dental issues. She even contacted my PCP to verify meds to use. She was very thorough with this 75 year old with various dental needs. Procedure completed with very little pain. Staff went the extra mile by calling in meds to pharmacy and calling my family that I was ready to be picked up. I highly recommend Southpoint Dentistry for your dental needs. Had a great experience from start to finish! The front desk staff was friendly and welcoming. The dental assistant and hygienist, Angela (I believe that was her name), did an amazing job with my cleaning. She was very gentle and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire appointment. Dr. Qian was very knowledgeable, took the time to explain everything during my examination, and let me know what to expect and keep an eye on in the future. I truly appreciated the excellent care from the entire team and would definitely recommend this office!

Very friendly staff. The cleaning was gentle but through. I am glad they were able to see me quickly. My appointment was made only a week in advance. I had chipped a tooth and had moved recently, so I needed a new dentist. I was overdue on my cleaning so they knocked that out as well. The whole appointment was only 35 or so minutes. I was surprised, as they covered and did a lot in that time. Thank you for the great care.

I had a great experience with Dr Qian. I had an implant placed I was nervous and scared that it will take long and hurt. But no that was not the case. She was done quickly and throughly. I barely felt her working on me. The price was reasonable with my insurance. I'm so glad I choose southpoint dentistry as my dentist. I highly recommend them. The front receptionist are kind and welcoming.

Look no further you found the right place! I was 5 years overdue for a cleaning and exam and scared to take this step to get back on track but really needed to do it. All of the staff is very friendly and made me feel at home. I did not get scolded or feel uncomfortable not once. My appointment was on time I only waited 10 minutes for my turn. They use a water cleaning system that was totally painless. The hygienist is very gentle and cleaning was way faster than I expected so no dry lips and sore jaw. The dentist is fantastic and checked all my teeth. I do have some gum recess that she said we can talk about on my next visit in 6 months. There is new procedures that can be done that are surgery free so I’m looking forward to working on that next. I want to say thank you to all of the staff for being friendly and kind. In my 65 years, this has been by far the best dental experience I’ve had!!!
