The team at Studio Smiles always make sure their patients are comfortable. A deep cleaning turned into a lovely conversation with many laughs. Highly recommend if you’re in the Midtown East area.

I felt compelled to take down my previous 5-star rating after today's visit (6.12.26). I've been a patient here for years, and today's experience left my disheartened. I used to love coming for my checkups and cleanings, but the hygienist today had the absolute worst "bedside manner". I freely admit I don't floss as often as I should, but at this same studio I've been getting the recommendation to just try my best to do it twice or three times a week, and my general oral health was always positively regarded by the previous hygienists and dentists at this same studio. This hygienist was digging into my gums so hard, I couldn't help but make an expression of discomfort on my face. She did ask if I was okay, and I told her that I was uncomfortable with the roughness of her approach, to which she told me that my gums were very inflamed. Even if it were the case, the lack of tact about it wasn't helping. She said, she was very thorough. At one point, I literally flinched, and she asked me not to do that because it "could do some real damage". I'm pretty sure it's an instinctual, involuntary movement I couldn't really help. Small thing to add is that she was also glancing at the TV in the room playing some reality show, in between working on my teeth. At the end, she gave me a forceful lecture about how I should floss every day, and not only that, but also buy a water pick so we don't have to have any more serious procedures in the future... This was the worst teeth cleaning experience I've ever had. To the owner of the Studio: as someone who's worked in business my entire career, I'm certain you don't want to make your patients and customers feel bad about themselves. The medical personnel is supposed to help, guide, and encourage, not berate. I'm hard enough on myself already to not be doing even better at my oral hygiene — I don't need this kind of attitude. I'd highly recommend this hygienist seriously reconsiders the way she handles her patients. Before this visit, I wanted to inquire about some additional treatments at this studio, but this and a few admin things all added up to a very poor experience, so I am now considering switching dentists, or, at the very least, confirming the hygienist's name, to make sure I never see her again.

I love love love this dentist office. The staff is beyond impeccable and the dentist and hygienist our top-notch. I've been going there for years and my experience keeps getting better and better - and so do my teeth and gums! It's not just about the cleanings, it's not just about the fillings, it's not just about any sort of work that you need done, you're taught oral hygiene habits. Keep up the good work! I know I'll continue to recommend this place.

Went in for a check-up at Studio Smiles Dental Group and had a great first experience! The staff was super friendly, and the technician, hygienist, and Dr. Maya Deshmukh took the time to explain everything step by step. Even though I found out I have some dental issues and it may cost more than I expected, I really appreciated how thorough and kind everyone was. Overall, I left feeling informed and well taken care of! Also it was really a fun atmosphere for a dental office!

It’s incredibly hard to find a dentist you truly trust, and this team has always made me feel comfortable, cared for, and genuinely valued. The office itself is amazing — super cool, artistic, and beautifully designed. Every detail feels intentional, from the stylish interior to the pink gloves and pink dental instruments, which add such a fun and unique touch. You can really feel the personality and creativity the moment you walk in. I also love that this is an all-female dental clinic that prioritizes and supports women in the industry. There’s such a warm, empowering energy there that makes the experience completely different from any other dental office I’ve been to. Dr Clemente and team were above and beyond model healthcare professionals that all should aspire to with excellent bedside manner, kind, competent and professional. Everything was thoroughly explained to me and there was a clear definitive plan with all questions answered and extensive counseling. The office is super clean with extremely polite and friendly staff always willing and ready to accommodate!

I absolutely love Studio Smile!! The front desk, dentists, and staff truly care about their patients, which is so incredibly important when dealing with such a sensitive topic as dental health. Every visit has been a 10/10 experience and I am so glad to have found such a wonderful practice!

I’m a new patient at Studio Smiles NYC and went in for a cleaning. They did a very thorough job, and the doctor was extremely detailed during the exam, which I really appreciated. Everyone was kind and welcoming, and I truly feel like I’m in very good hands. Highly recommend!

Gabby is the best Hygienist!! Must go to her for your cleaning. She’s excellent and what she does! She is so patient, kind and gentle asking every step of the way if I am doing good and if anything bothers me. She would pause the moment you feel remotely uncomfortable and will move gently.

This has been my dentist for several years now and I have a great experience every time. I’ve had a different hygienist and doctor most times I’ve gone, but they’re always well-informed about issues I’m keeping an eye on so it’s clear the office is well run. Everyone from the front desk to the cleaning is always happy to answer my questions and communicates well throughout the process. Highly recommend!
