About The Dental Implant Center

The Dental Implant Center provides dental care on West Lovers Lane in Dallas, Texas. Implants are considered by many dentists the most durable way to replace a missing tooth, since the titanium post fuses with the jaw bone over several months and then supports a crown that functions much like a natural tooth. Enough healthy bone is the main prerequisite, and a graft can build that up first if needed.

Payment and insurance arrangements vary by practice and by treatment, so it is worth asking directly what is covered and what options exist for anything that is not, rather than assuming either way. Getting that clarified before treatment starts avoids surprises once it is underway.

Beyond any single treatment, most dental visits start with an examination — checking for decay, reviewing the gums, and looking at existing fillings or crowns — often alongside X-rays where there is a reason to look between or beneath teeth. That groundwork is what a dentist uses to explain any findings and set out next steps before you leave.

Routine attendance, roughly every six months for most people, is what actually keeps small problems small. A lot of decay and gum disease develops without any pain in its early stages, which is why regular checkups matter even when nothing seems to be wrong, rather than only booking an appointment once something hurts.

A first appointment at a new practice typically covers a full examination, a review of your dental and medical history, and a professional cleaning, with X-rays if you do not have recent ones. It is also a reasonable time to raise any longer-term concerns, cosmetic or otherwise, so they can be factored into a plan going forward.

Day-to-day oral health still comes down to the basics between visits — brushing twice daily with fluoride toothpaste, cleaning between the teeth, and limiting how often sugary food and drink appear through the day matters more than the total amount eaten at once. Regular professional care is what catches whatever those habits do not. Frequently Asked Questions

Where is The Dental Implant Center located in Dallas?
The Dental Implant Center is on West Lovers Lane in Dallas, Texas (75209).
What days is The Dental Implant Center open?
The Dental Implant Center is open Monday through Thursday. Contact the practice through this page to confirm current appointment times before travelling.
What services does The Dental Implant Center offer?
Listed services at The Dental Implant Center include Dental Implants. The full list is shown on this page.
How long does a dental implant take from start to finish?
Commonly several months, because the implant needs time to integrate with the jaw bone before the final crown is fitted. Timelines stretch if a bone graft is needed first, and some cases allow a temporary tooth in the meantime.
What is a bone graft and why might I need one?
Bone shrinks after a tooth is lost, and if there is not enough left to anchor an implant, grafting rebuilds the volume first. It is a common preliminary step when a tooth has been missing for a long time.
What happens during a routine dental examination?
The dentist checks the teeth for decay, examines the gums, looks at any existing fillings and crowns, and screens the soft tissues. X-rays are taken when there is a reason to look between or beneath teeth.

If you are looking for a place that’s going to do you right and really care for you as a person first, this is the place to go!! I had an accident a couple years ago that caused me to lose my front tooth. They made a PERFECT match and brought back my smile. (They even provided me whitening products for the rest of my teeth, for an even better match!) They are so kind, understanding, flexible, and LGBT+ friendly! Shout out to Stephany and Stacy at the front desk for taking care of me like they were my moms😭❤️ Honestly, shout out to all of the staff here. They’re so kind, greet you as you come in, and they remember things you tell them from your last appointments. Truly the best place I’ve ever been to. As my journey to a new tooth has finally ended, I will definitely be coming back here for routine appointments. The environment is exactly how all dental offices should be!

My wife spent many hours in Dr McFadden’s office earlier this week. So much was accomplished which minimized return visits. We are very grateful for Dr McFadden and his amazing staff! Highly recommended!!

David D. McFadden’s surgery on Oct. 6th was amazingly painless and fast with a light local anesthetic. Dr. McFadden extracted teeth #6 and #8 and inserted implants for a new bridge. I followed pre and post-surgery instructions and did not remove the temporary retainer for three days. Thereafter I wore the retainer at night to prevent the teeth from shifting while the surgical site healed. Staff was on call 7/24 after the surgery which was reassuring. I took only one ibuprofen before leaving Dr. McFadden’s office to drive myself home and none after that. Dr. McFadden delivered good news Oct. 21 that the surgical site was healing normally. The impression was taken Jan 5th and the bridge installed Feb 10. I am delighted with the natural appearance and perfect fit. My upper center right bridge had fallen out late August. A physician took a photo of my toothless mouth on Aug 29th for MyChart. The photo supports the unpredictability of my dental needs which is why I refuse bisphosphonates for osteopenia. Sept 3, Yousif Bolus, DMD, Ideal Dental Dallas referred McFadden Dental Implant Center, expecting implants to be the solution. Dr, McFadden’s post-recovery retainer is worn nightly to prevent my grinding from cracking another tooth. [Note: I found DentalPod Oral Appliance Cleaner, an ultrasound device from Zima, now used to clean the retainer.] I am grateful to David D. McFadden, DMD, FACP, FAAID, and his staff for extending the quality of my life at age 80 with the two dental implants bridging the hole for tooth #7; and for his experienced advise that my upper jaw would likely not support three implants in that location.

If 11 out of 10 could be my rating, then I would rate this office that high. My experience with the entirety of doctors, personnel, and services provided have been beyond my expectations, and quite frankly amazing. Dr. Andrew Lim, who personally performed the operations and management of the reconstruction of my smile, was truly transformative. Dr. David McFadden, who I learned from about the incredible dental options his practice provides, is extremely passionate and an amazing advocate for providing the best care for the patient and not what is more convenient or conventional for the doctor. The office staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, and fast responding. Through every step, the doctors have shown integrity by guaranteeing their work and placing no additional burden on me for any uncommon or unforeseeable issues that I experienced. I highly recommend you see for yourself the information on their website, their YouTube videos (give them a thumbs up “like”), and schedule an appointment to see for yourself how they can help you! Thank you Dr. Lim, Dr. McFadden, and everyone at the Dental Implant Center!

The sincerity and personal interactions with not only the staff who greeted me but Dr. McFadden felt unique and rare. He really took the time to explain my many options and truly wanted to help me find a path forward that worked for me. I also feel fortunate to have found him because of the safer and less invasive technique he uses and is also encouraging the rest of the industry to use. It's nice to find someone who is simply doing the right thing for the right reason and Dr. McFadden is a good one indeed!

Just finished getting a full mouth rehab and I’m loving the results. I’m 76 years old and I’ve been having trouble with my teeth since I was in my teens. I’ve had several bouts with cancer and went through a lot of chemotherapy which didn’t help. In the last 20 years or so I’ve lost a lot of teeth. I owned a dental laboratory in Dallas over thirty years ago and I met Dr. McFadden when he became a client. We soon became good friends. We both believed in doing the very best we could for our patients so we formed a bond around that. Over the years Dr. McFadden would replace a tooth or two with implant borne restorations until it became obvious that a more radical approach was needed. At that point he extracted what teeth I had left and placed additional implants so that I could have a full mouth reconstruction. Today I received the final result of that decision and am so grateful for his care and expertise to be able to deliver me from a toothless fate. Not only am I able to eat what I want but I also can smile with confidence. Thank you Dr. McFadden for changing so many people’s lives and for being my friend.

Dr. David McFadden is the G.O A.T. of implant denistry! After seeing five dentists and going to twenty one appointments that dragged on for two years, I finally found Dr. McFadden and his wonderful staff. This is the place to go. Three visits and my dental nightmare is finally over. Thank you to all of you at McFadden Dental Implant Center! Happy New Year!
