I’ve been a patient at this dental office for over two years, and Dr. Pollan and the entire staff have been consistently outstanding. Dr. Pollan is compassionate, understanding, and extremely kind. He does excellent work and has always been very patient with me. I recently had a wisdom tooth extraction, and the experience was smooth from start to finish. He explained everything clearly, including post-surgery care, which I truly appreciated.

I have been to University Dental 3x in the last month or so for consult, exam, cleaning, and a filling and I can not recommend this office & team enough. Reception & scheduling are responsive, communicative, and clear. The nurses/techs are all very skilled, polite, and warm. Dr. Pollan is clearly very skilled, with excellent bedside manor, and responsive compassionate care. I appreciated his honesty working with a big problem tooth of mine after quite sometime away from dental care access. There's zero judgement and tons of support whether the barrier to care is financial, fearful, or just a busy/transient life. Going to the dentist may not always be enjoyable, but the University Square Dental team makes it as easy as possible. Thanks for the fantastic care! I'm very excited to have them on my team and looking forward to the much better care of my teeth :)

People who work in this clinic are incredible! I feel very welcomed every time I walk in. Olivia, Dechen and Dr. Pollan are understanding, compassionate and kind. Dr. Pollan takes time to throughly explain the procedures and answer any questions. He goes above and beyond to make his clients feel comfortable and informed. Great clinic!

I've had a lot of apprehension about visiting the dentist after not being able to go since before COVID due to many life circumstances. I decided that I finally needed to go due to a chronic progressive dental issue that I've had for multiple years and was worried that I would be judged harshly for not being on top of my dental health. I searched around for different dentists and decided to contact University Square Dental after seeing it was a recommended clinic by UW. I'm SO glad that I reached out to them! Scheduling was quick and easy as I had to go on an emergency basis, and they were more than willing to work with me to find a time when I can be seen -- a luxury for the very busy and exhausted grad student for sure! They were upfront about their costs and worked with me to make sure the care they recommended was within my budget, which was a huge relief and help considering that I do not have dental insurance and have to pay everything out of cost. The cash same-day payment discount for sure helped a lot as well! Jessica, one of the many friendly receptionists, was warm and helpful, along with the rest of the front desk people. The dental hygienists were wonderful at taking care of me. They talked to me like a human being and I felt very welcomed, respected, and comfortable with them! Dr. Pollan was amazing as well. He was kind and thoughtful. I was so anxious that I would be judged for my current dental issue and did not feel an ounce of judgement or disapproval at all. Dr. Pollan is very caring and incredibly intelligent. He clearly cares a lot about his patients and the profession, and uses evidence-based practices to make sure I got the best care possible. My case is a complicated one with many moving pieces involved. Dr. Pollan made referral very easy for more advanced care that I need and explained to me many different options moving forward to get my problem resolved. We worked together to think of the best plan for not only my dental health, but for my time and financial limitations as well. I did not feel that any part of the plan we came up with was unreasonable or confusing as Dr. Pollan has a wonderful style of communication that makes it easy to understand exactly what he believes is going on and what to do about it. Dr. Pollan's dog, Chamfer, is also a certified therapy dog to help those with severe dental-related anxiety, who is at the clinic multiple times a week helping patients feel more comfortable. It is so so cool that they do this and prioritize patient well-being not just dentally but mentally/emotionally. The clinic has advanced imaging capabilities when x-ray radiographs aren't enough. I ended up needing a limited oral CT scan which they can do in-house at a very reasonable and affordable cost - I was totally expecting a CT scan to be at least $500 and it was significantly lower than that, which made it easy to make that decision to do it as it fit into my budget. Overall, this place has been the best dental clinic experience that I've ever had and I look forward to continuing to coordinate with them to get my dental health in tip top shape again! I'm so grateful for the professional and excellent team at this clinic and couldn't possibly recommend them or praise them enough!

Great team of dental professionals! Dr. Pollan is great at answering all my questions and addressing my dental concerns in the least invasive way. Sue does an amazing job cleaning my teeth! All the staff are friendly and great with my 10-year-old daughter as well. I highly recommend!
