About Zenith Dental Arts: Lior Neuman, DDS

Based on 6th Avenue in Brooklyn, New York, Zenith Dental Arts: Lior Neuman, DDS is a dental practice serving the area. Holistic, or biological, dentistry applies standard dental diagnosis and treatment within an approach that emphasises material choice and conservative treatment, considering oral health as connected to the body more broadly rather than treating the mouth in isolation.

Digital X-rays are a routine part of dental care because they show what a visual exam alone cannot — decay forming between teeth, bone loss below the gumline, and how developing adult teeth are positioned in children. They use a low radiation dose and are taken on a schedule matched to individual risk rather than at every single visit.

Left untreated, small dental problems tend not to stay small. A minor cavity that would have been a straightforward filling can progress to needing root canal treatment and a crown, and early gum inflammation that would have reversed with a good cleaning can progress toward bone loss around the teeth. Catching things early is generally the difference in both effort and cost.

Continuity matters in dental care — seeing the same practice over time means your history, X-rays, and any patterns in your oral health are already on file, rather than starting from scratch at each visit. That familiarity is part of what a regular dental home offers beyond any single appointment.

Dental anxiety is common, and most practices are used to working with nervous patients — through clear explanations of what is about to happen, a slower pace where needed, and sedation options for patients who want them. Avoiding the dentist out of anxiety tends to make eventual treatment more involved, not less.

Children benefit from starting dental visits early, generally by their first birthday or within six months of the first tooth coming through, mainly so they become familiar with the setting before any treatment is actually needed. Establishing that routine early tends to make ongoing checkups far less stressful for both child and parent. The office is easy to find and clean. The receptionist is kind and professional. The assistant was attentive and gentle with the x-rays. I loved the 'live' plant wall and calming music in the waiting area. Dr. Neuman has incredible bedside manner and explained everything my visit would entail before proceeding. He answered all of my questions and my teeth feel great. He's one of the few dentists that didn't talk to me like a sales person as if my wisdom teeth were lost gold and I appreciated that. He wasn't trying to offer me unnecessary procedures and made feel completely comfortable. I'm looking forward to going back and already recommended his office to my Mom. He took his time and I knew he cared about my oral health! He's great! They take great precautions due to Covid. Wear a mask to your appointment. They checked my temperature. And everything was sanitized, covered and came out of sterile packaging! 2025 I’ve been to the office this week and I absolutely love and look forward to all of my appointments. When I say my teeth looked and felt noticeably better after my cleaning, I’m not kidding. I genuinely feel like I left there with my teeth a few shades brighter and I have the pegs for aligners and I got thee deepest clean!

I have always hated the dentist and I’ve tried many dentists in NYC and Brooklyn. This is by far my favorite. I feel like they are not taking advantage and actually care about your health. They explain everything going on and do not do unnecessary procedures. They are gentle with the work they do and are always friendly and kind. I would recommend this place to everyone I know

I’ve been a patient at Zenith dental for a few years and they are wonderful. I’ve had extensive work done and been incredibly happy with it and will continue going there for the foreseeable future. If you’re looking for a new Dentist, this is a great place to go.

I have been once so far and I am delighted. I was with my previous dentist for 10 years, but then he retired during Covid and I have been a bit adrift searching for someone I like as much. Dr. Newman clearly explains why he is making the choices that he is regarding your dentistry, showing his reasoning on your X-Rays. It’s nice to know what he’s seeing and why he thinks I might need work here or there. He performed a thorough expansion including periodontal and soft tissue cancer screening. The cleaning itself was nothing short of violence… but hopefully that means my teeth are nice and clean?! 😆😆 I have receding gums, so I never have a good time with a cleaning - in their defense.
