About Brooklyn City Dental

Brooklyn City Dental sits on Manhattan Avenue in Greenpoint, on the corridor that runs through the heart of the neighborhood from McCarren Park up to Newtown Creek. The practice handles general dentistry for the surrounding Greenpoint community — Polish-American households that've anchored the neighborhood for generations, the wave of newer residents drawn by the East River-facing development, and the working professionals who commute into Manhattan from this corner of Brooklyn.

Routine fillings make up a steady share of the schedule. The team uses tooth-colored composite as the default material, with single-surface and multi-surface restorations, replacement fillings when older work has failed, and the structural call between filling and crown when more tooth material has been lost. Beyond fillings, services include cleanings and exams, root canals, crowns and bridges, extractions, gum-disease screening, teeth whitening, and emergency dental care. They'll discuss whether a borderline cavity should be filled now or watched at the next recall — the conservative call keeps patients in fewer chair visits over time when the decay isn't progressing aggressively.

If you've been told several cavities at a different practice and you want a fresh diagnostic look at the same X-rays, a second-opinion exam here usually gives you a comparison call without sales pressure.

Patients searching for affordable family dental care in Brooklyn, family dentist in Brooklyn, or general dentistry in Brooklyn, NY who live in Greenpoint, Williamsburg, or Long Island City often choose practices like this one for the residential proximity and routine general-dentistry focus. Brooklyn City Dental fits that local pattern. The new-patient exam combines comprehensive radiographs, periodontal screening, and a treatment-plan walkthrough before any restorative work is scheduled. For Greenpoint residents picking a regular general dental practice, this Manhattan Avenue office is a reasonable first appointment. Brooklyn dental capacity tightens and loosens by season — if the practice isn't accepting new patients on first call, asking about a waitlist position is worth the two minutes before moving on to other options.

Based on Manhattan Avenue in Brooklyn, New York, Brooklyn City Dental provides cosmetic dentistry and root canal treatment alongside routine dental care. The practice is open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday. Contact details and a full list of services are on this page.

I really loved this dental clinic! The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and Dasha, the dental hygienist, did an amazing job with my teeth cleaning. I’m very happy with the quality of the service and will definitely be coming back again!

Awful!!! Do not go here if you are in any amount of pain. They will overcharge you by thousands of dollars and sign you up for payment for plans for services that are covered by most insurances. Because insurance companies do not have a specific amount they will pay Brooklyn City overcharges. I went in for an extraction - at most this should cost 100$ out of pocket and my insurance covers the rest. Brooklyn City wanted to charge over $1400.00 plus whatever they are getting from my insurance. Total swindlers- BEWARE- stay away- emergency extractions should not cost more than 100$ let alone over 1400$- unbelievable that you can try and justify this!

By far the worst dental office in the five Burroughs. If you don’t already have a migraine from your tooth pain the obnoxious volume of house or edm or whatever is playing through their sound system will deliver a tension headache that will bring you to your knees. They claim that most insurances will cover their costs but the astronomical amounts they charge are nowhere near covered. Out come the 3rd party loans before you can even rinse and spit. Agreements that will have you paying longer than most college loans. If you want to be overcharged and under served then this is for you otherwise I would look elsewhere.

Went in for a crown that had fallen off (a different dentist). They explained that it fell off because the dentist did such a bad job. I got upsold on the laser gum surgery which would let them do an even better job and make sure it would never come off. It was like an episode of Three stooges watching three of them figure out how to use the laser. Stupidly, I did not get up and walk out at that point. Painful gums for weeks, then, sure enough, my crown fell off TWO MONTHS LATER. Called and they gave some BS excuse. Next dentist put their crown back on and it's been there for a year. Slick looking office, clown show operation.

Dr Nate is amazing! He’s very knowledgeable and explains everything to me very well. He made me feel very comfortable and at ease during the entire appointment. I did a tooth extraction and he executed everything perfectly. The nurses are really sweet too, 10/10 experience! Will come back for future dental needs.

I’ve been coming to Brooklyn City Dental for years, and I truly can’t say enough good things about this office. From the moment you walk in, the front desk staff is always so warm, welcoming, and friendly, making every visit a positive experience. A special shoutout to my hygienist, Dasha—she’s the best! She does such a thorough job with my cleanings while always being gentle, kind, and making me feel completely at ease. She’s genuinely one of the reasons I actually don’t mind going to the dentist. I highly recommend Brooklyn City Dental to anyone looking for a caring, professional dental office with an amazing team. They consistently provide excellent care, and I’m so glad I found them years ago.

The office was great. It looked great, all the staff were friendly and they offered sparkling water. Visiting the dentist can be a nerve wrecking experience but this was pleasant. I would recommend this office to anyone. The dentist was very knowledgeable, patient, and asked me a lot of questions to make sure I was comfortable. The issue I had was resolved quickly
