About Brooklyn Sedation Dental Center

Brooklyn Sedation Dental Center operates on Joralemon Street in Brooklyn, New York. Sedation dentistry uses inhaled, oral, or intravenous options to help patients relax through treatment, ranging from nitrous oxide for mild anxiety through to deeper sedation for longer or more involved procedures. It is commonly used for patients who have avoided the dentist for years due to fear.

CAD/CAM restorations are crowns, veneers, or similar pieces designed from a digital scan and milled from solid ceramic on site, often allowing a same-day crown without the temporary and second visit a traditional lab-made crown requires.

Day-to-day oral health still comes down to the basics between visits — brushing twice daily with fluoride toothpaste, cleaning between the teeth, and limiting how often sugary food and drink appear through the day matters more than the total amount eaten at once. Regular professional care is what catches whatever those habits do not.

Digital X-rays are a routine part of dental care because they show what a visual exam alone cannot — decay forming between teeth, bone loss below the gumline, and how developing adult teeth are positioned in children. They use a low radiation dose and are taken on a schedule matched to individual risk rather than at every single visit.

Left untreated, small dental problems tend not to stay small. A minor cavity that would have been a straightforward filling can progress to needing root canal treatment and a crown, and early gum inflammation that would have reversed with a good cleaning can progress toward bone loss around the teeth. Catching things early is generally the difference in both effort and cost.

Continuity matters in dental care — seeing the same practice over time means your history, X-rays, and any patterns in your oral health are already on file, rather than starting from scratch at each visit. That familiarity is part of what a regular dental home offers beyond any single appointment. Modern milling ceramics are engineered specifically for strength and are considered comparable to laboratory-made restorations for most back-tooth applications, though material choice still depends on the specific case.

I can't say enough about how amazing Doctor is. I literally have no fear of going to the dentist any more. She's the most experienced dentist I've ever met. I was given sedation to get my crown done and root canal. I also had a few extractions and bone grafts done. I would highly recommend!

Simply awesome. I've been a satisfied patient for years but most recently, even more so when I broke a back tooth requiring gum lengthening and a crown. Dentist is incredibly skilled but also kind, concerned and caring. The staffs are amazing, professional and friendly. I recommend with total satisfaction and highest regard.

What an amazing dentist Dr. I'm nothing but thrilled with the quality of care and repairs that were made to my teeth by them. Dr Kendall has helped restore my faith in medicine and helped me to better understand what a great doctor is supposed to be. I now have a family dentist for life.
