Havemeyer Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

My son’s orthodontist referred us here, and I was honestly pretty apprehensive at first because I didn’t fully understand why a couple of his permanent teeth needed to be removed. From the moment we walked in, everyone was warm, kind, and welcoming. The doctor took the time to thoroughly evaluate my son, explain the procedure, and answer all of our questions, which immediately put us at ease. The entire process was smooth and efficient, and the extraction went very well. What stood out most was how genuinely caring everyone in the office was. They even followed up afterward to make sure my son was doing well. While I hope we never need another extraction, I wouldn’t hesitate to come back if we did. It was truly an excellent experience, and I highly recommend this office.

I had a wisdom tooth extraction done by a surgeon that accepted my insurance. A few days later my face was swelling more and I was feeling horrible. I went for an emergency visit to my local dentist. The X-rays showed that I had a piece of metal in my gum. They really scared me. It was Friday afternoon. I got answering machines wherever I called. Until I called Dr. Stern. The office was closed, but Perri answered the phone. I sent over the X-rays...and here's the best part! DR STERN CAME IN FOR ME! I WASN'T HIS PATIENT! He was stuck in traffic a total of almost 5 hours! He opened the site, and took out the piece of metal that broke off the surgeon's tool. He worked without an assistant! His demeaner was modest, calm, kind and professional, and Perri is really something! She gives the practice that personal warm family vibe (not so common in the medical industry today). This review is my way of saying thank you!

I had been putting off getting my wisdom teeth removed for nearly 10 years because I was extremely anxious about the procedure, the pain, and the recovery. After my experience with Dr. Stern and Perri, I feel silly for procrastinating this long! From the beginning, Perri was incredibly helpful, communicative, and thorough. During the scheduling and consultation process, she clearly explained the logistics, costs, and timeline of the procedure, which helped ease a lot of my anxiety. When it finally came time for the extraction, I was very nervous, but Perri was such a reassuring presence. Her confidence and kindness made a big difference. I had three wisdom teeth removed, and I was honestly shocked by how quick and efficient Dr. Stern and the surgical tech were. The procedure was over before I knew it and I experienced barely any pain, even with just local anesthetic. It was clear that he is extremely experienced and his calm, straightforward demeanor made me feel very comfortable throughout the process. After the procedure, Perri provided clear post-op instructions and even checked in to see how my recovery was going, which I really appreciated! I still have my follow-up appointment next week, but so far my recovery has been incredibly smooth, and I credit that to Dr. Stern’s skill and expertise. I’m very grateful to the entire team for making what I had feared for years such a positive experience!

Amazing!!! They really took the time to sit down and go over all options and took me step by step of the process and procedures that were going to happen, answered all my questions and made me feel listened to. Has even checked in everyday/ every other day to assure i am healing correctly! Perri and Dr.Stern are truly the best!

My experience with Havemeyer OMS has been nothing but the BEST. As someone who stresses over dental work, I can confidently say I have felt most comfortable here over any other dentist or OMS. Perri has the gift of making anyone feel welcome and heard, and Dr. Stern is communicative and thorough -- both experts at what they do. Thank y'all for helping me through a very complicated issue. Had a great experience with a very caring doctor and staff. Husband and wife team that make you feel like part of the family. No problems with my extraction and I got to pick the music during the procedure. It’s annoying to have dental surgery but the team at Havemeyer make it as smooth as possible. I would recommend!

Hey real person here. Nobody asked me to leave a review or anything, just had a really amazing experience and wanted to talk about it. I came in for a very last second wisdom tooth removal and the team was so incredibly helpful. Camila at the front was lovely - she walked me through everything, as this was one of my first experiences with seeking dental help on my own. One thing that stood out to me was how good this practice’s communication was. To each other and to patients. And lemme tell you about Dr. Stern. Dude is funny. But more than that he’s an absolute professional. Every step of the process was crystal clear because he had explained it all to me before we even began. Overall, this experience was seamless, painless, and stress free. They had me in and out, and left me with great tools for managing the aftercare. I’m already done bleeding. Definitely recommend these professionals.

Had all 4 wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Stern and I can honestly say it was one of the most pleasant medical-related experiences. I know that sounds insane—but Dr. Stern is thorough, professional and knowledgeable. He made me feel at ease by explaining the entire process and giving me options, allowing me to choose what was best for me. Ultimately I went with extracting all 4 at once with laughing gas and I have no regrets! I barely felt a tug and my recovery has been seamless.
