About Park Dental Care

Park Dental Care operates on Knickerbocker Avenue in Bushwick, the central-east Brooklyn neighborhood where Latino and African American family communities have anchored the residential blocks alongside the wave of newer residents that's reshaped parts of the area. The practice handles general dentistry for that mixed catchment — routine cleanings, fillings, crowns, and the day-to-day restorative work that anchors regular dental care without specializing narrowly.

Routine fillings make up a steady share of the schedule. The team uses tooth-colored composite as the default for most cases, handling single-surface and multi-surface restorations, replacement fillings when older work has failed, and the structural call between filling and crown when more tooth material has been lost. Beyond fillings, services include cleanings and exams, root canals, crowns and bridges, basic extractions, gum-disease screening, and emergency dental care. They'll discuss cost-tier options when multiple treatment paths are clinically reasonable, since insurance coverage and out-of-pocket capacity run unevenly across the Bushwick patient mix.

If you've been waiting on a filling because you weren't sure how the visit cost would land, a comprehensive new-patient exam here usually combines the diagnostic with the price discussion in one visit so you can plan accordingly.

Patients searching for general dentistry in Brooklyn, NY, family dentist in Brooklyn, or affordable family dental care in Brooklyn who live in Bushwick, Bedford-Stuyvesant, or Ridgewood often weigh practices like this one for the local proximity and the routine availability. Park Dental Care fits that pattern. The new-patient exam combines comprehensive X-rays, periodontal screening, and a treatment-plan walkthrough before any restorative work is scheduled. For Bushwick and surrounding-neighborhood residents picking a regular general dental practice, this Knickerbocker Avenue office is a reasonable first appointment. Brooklyn dental capacity tightens and loosens by season — if the practice isn't accepting new patients on first call, asking about a waitlist position is worth the two minutes before moving on to other options.

Based on Knickerbocker Avenue in Brooklyn, New York, Park Dental Care provides cosmetic dentistry and root canal treatment alongside routine dental care. The practice is open Monday through Saturday. Contact details and a full list of services are on this page.

These guys are the best! I’ve been doing here for years but recently had to switch to another dentist office because they stopped taking my insurance, I was sooo sad. No establishment can compare to the great level of service and care they give at park dental. I recently started coming back to them and just paying out of pocket because that’s how excellent they are. As soon as you walk in your greeted so welcoming and many of the staff even remembers you by name and say hi. I can’t recommend this place enough. I tell everyone I know to go here!

Typically, I despise dentists. Not because they’re inept or anything; I am just fearful. Today was my first Root Canal, as I’ve learned my oral health is practically atrocious; I haven’t been in over a decade. Dr. Chan is one of the best dentists I’ve encountered. Not only does he elucidate everything with flawless precision for you, he’s patient, a wonderful conversation, and truly cares for the wellbeing of his patients and their oral health. Prior to visiting Dr Chan, I’ve had an innate fear of dentists; however, Dr Chan has helped me overcome that fear by swiftly alleviating my pain, and caring. Thank you Dr. Chan!

I called a few weeks ago because I was receiving bills by this company yet. I never once used them for any of what they're claiming. I reported this, and they are well aware that somebody stole my identity and is using my information to get very expensive dental treatment covered. And yet, despite the fact that I reported this I get another bill today for more services that were added on despite the fact that I called him ahead of time to put a stop on this. I will be following up with the authorities, but the fact that they allowed this to happen after already reporting it to them.Makes me feel like they might have something to do with it.

Great dental practice - I've been a client of there for a few years now, and I can't imagine going elsewhere. The team friendly and punctual. The dentists are absolute professionals - they make even the most uncomfortable procedures pleasant ones.

Have been coming here for a little over year or so after finding them through Zocdoc when my insurance changed. All the dentists are so nice and competent, make sound recommendations, and I know they aren’t just telling me whatever to get paid. The last dentist I saw told me I had 4 cavities and I was about to get major surgery because I thought I “had to”. I luckily ended up not doing that and came to this dental practice instead. I’m so relieved that I’ve found a practice with great dentists who are honest and smart! Bonus is that it’s super close to where I live!
